Repent While There is Still Time

Repent!

Repent, My people, while there is still time left for you. Many of you hear My words and the messages I send through My prophets and laugh but I say this to you now:  You will not laugh when My judgments fall on your land, but tremble in fear.

It is not My desire that you perish. It is not My desire that you walk in hardship yet you refuse to turn when I call you. You refuse and pretend you do not hear.

Do you not know I see the wickedness in your hearts? Do you not know you can hide nothing from Me?

Turn your hearts to Me while there is still time.

Joel 2:12-13: Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:  And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Matthew 4:17: From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

II Chronicles 36:16: But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

Amos 3:7: Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Proverbs 19:29: Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.

Jude 1:17-19: But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Matthew 18:14: Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Genesis 6:5: And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Proverbs 1:24-31: Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

  1. You KNOW God is serious about America repenting if He even uses a politician to call upon the Name of Jesus!

Texas Governor Rick Perry is calling the nation to call upon Jesus Christ for a national day of prayer and fasting on August 6th. Reliant stadium in Houston is reserved for that day.

If God is using even a politician to get through to the people, then the people will be without excuse.

I am saddened that groups labeling themselves as 'Christian' are condemning what Perry has done.

It is time for America to go back to the Old Paths.. It is time for America to seek God!

    God bless!

  2. Amen!! Conrad - can you post a link here to your Cinchcast about Christians coming against Gov. Perry?

  3. Here is the cinch i did.. i was really hot headed so i am not exactly proud of it..

    http://cinch.fm/mostradicalmanever/cell-phone-cinches/242839

Basically, the Houston Clergy Council is condemning Perry for calling upon the Name of Jesus! They think other religions should be included. Imagine that, a Christian organization condeming the calling upon of JESUS!

Doesn't that just make you angry? God sure isn't happy with it..

In the book of Jonah, When Nineveh repented they didn't call upon false Gods.. If they did, God would have whacked them! Calling upon false God's would have made God even angrier!

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I will be doing a follow up on the Governor Perry repentance prayer soon. But i wanted to point out some obvious points that God makes about national repentance.

MY PEOPLE! It is God's people that need to repent.
MY NAME - this is CHRISTIANS! We are called by His Name in the New Covenant.

So calling upon other faiths would just make God angry and be blasphemous. I believe praying to false God's would just bring judgment that much sooner.

    God bless!

  4. Conrad, here's a link to Van Impe taking a stand against interfaith (Chrislam) with TBN. We need more of this.

What part of these verses don't many Christians understand?

2 Cor 6:14-18 "14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial ? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people." 17 "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." 18 "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.""

I am over halfway through the video, and i am shocked. Go Jack Van Impe!

Compromise is seeping more and more into the church. Sadly, the pew sitters don't know nor do they care.

I was speaking with someone on the phone and they were mentioning 'Chrislam'. I thought i had a bad connection or something, and then finally asked them to spell it out! When i found out what they spelled i was floored.

The first thing that came to mind was the rhetoric of the 'Abrahamic Faiths'. The 'wordly' person's perspective is that all these faiths stemmed from Abraham, so they are all related. OOPS!

Like i said earlier, God must mean business if he even uses a politician to try and get America to repent!

    God bless...

  6. Thank you Lord for the word and thank you Glynda for sharing it!You can usually tell a true word from the Lord because there are believers that the Lord is already speaking that same word to. I have been getting the urgency for repentence and that need for closeness to the Lord. We know that repentence and a closer walk should always be seen in God's people but we can easily set it aside and frequently fail to really embrace it. When the more severe judgments start to happen (which will be soon) it's only our closeness with the Lord that will enable us to hear his voice and abide in his word! I have had struggles with drawing close to the Lord because of a lack of taking my walk seriously. Because of that, I suffered and dealt with a lot of condemnation and guilt. By God's grace, he's getting me through it but it's been a war! Please pray for me to completely break through and have that pure heart for the Lord and that mind of Christ! I pray for you all as well to receive that while there is still time! Lord bless you all!

  7. Very good work. Many years ago when I was a new christian I was in very grave health. And the Lord showed me a vision of Him whispering in the ear of His Saints asking them to stop and pray then for me. One by one till the 12th child of His stopped and obeyed him. It showed me that when He asks me to pray for someone, to stop everything and do it. Because it brought me such deep comfort and showed me just how much He really Loves His children. So if the Governer is obeying Him with setting a day of prayer..How many of his Sheppards did he ask that turned around and went about their day?

  8. Repenting of sins is such an easy process that a person can do it anytime and anywhere. The first step,is being saved and accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. I think some little children have never really reached an age of accountability before they have given their heart to Jesus and therefore have not got sins accumulated up to get repentenance for, therefore are just saved without needing to ask for sin forgiveness. On the other hand; if a person is well past the age of accountability (that age can vary with each individual) they may have a stack of sins to repent for. The great thing about God's love is, that it doesn't matter how many, as long as you are sincere. I look at it this way; There stands one of God's angels by a huge blackboard; when you go to God in prayer(or just in your mental thoughts calling out to God) your name pops up with all sins you haven't asked for forgiveness for yet and as soon as you ask, the angel gets a nod from God and with a big eraser he wipes your slate clean. God tells us to never bring any of it up again. In fact, if a person dwells on past sin they have gotten forgiveness for, God gets angry. To him it is like you didn't believe it was finalized and you are trying to crucify
Christ all over again. Accept forgiveness with FAITH!

  9. As soon as we fall in something where we've had victory (could be almost anything), the sooner we turn back to him, the wiser. It will also prevent us from going any further which becomes a vicious circle where we then feel so guilty we can't go to Him to confess it and so we live in shame and condemnation for our fall after doing so well. That is NOT where God wants us to be -- it becomes fertile ground for the enemy to beat us up, making us ineffective for helping others too.

Before, however, anything like that happens, I am reminded again how it best to live in a constant general sense of repentance that is not so much reactionary as prudent and cautious. Each day all of us sin (we are all still sinners) so beyond repenting for those sins we aren't even aware of, we can repent in general, just the mere fact we aren't holy as he is holy, for example, yet we are called to be. I like to turn it around and plead for God's righteousness more and more, a heart that is more and more His. Change my heart, oh God, continually make it new.

  10. Hi Johnny Stansell!

I noticed from last week's blog you were commenting on Babylon.

I'm not sure who is Babylon, but our US culture sure mirrors a Babylon system.

I did want to share something I came across recently -I think you'll find it very interesting:

Video on "Appollyn Rising", a book by Christian author, Tom Horn.
The video talks about the symbols and prophecies that have been incorporated into the architecture and layout of Washington,DC, as well as ceremonies of government.

I found it fascinating ,almost unbelievable. The symbols etc. discussed were pagan dieties like baal, apollyon. And the root of these dieties was Nimrod of the tower of Babel, which is also the land of Shinar from which God called Abram.

    It just gets weirder.

Let me know what you think about the video.

  11. Hi Johnny Stansell !

On last week's blog you were Talking about Babylon.

I'm not sure who Babylon is. There are days when I believe I'm living in the middle of Babylon. Our culture certainly mirrors it.

I wanted to share what I came across recently, I think it's very interesting:

A video based on "Apollyon Rising"
a book by Christian author, Tom Horn.
The video talks about the many symbols and prophecies that are incorporated into the Architecture and layout of Washington,DC, as well as in many government ceremonies.

The symbols were from ancient dieties like baal, Apollyn, Zeus, who can be traced back to Nimrod of the Tower of Babel, which is the land of Shinar from which God called Abram.

I found it fascinating- almost unbelievable. I had been aware of the cultic symbols on our paper currency, like the pyramid & eye. But this video was an eye- opener, especially considering many Washington buildings date back to 1850's.

Destroyed any ideas I had thinking there had been wholesomeness in our early leadership.

    It just gets weirder.

    Here's the video :

  12. @Conrad,

I hope we'll all come to a place soon when we don't go by the labels anymore that people place on themSELVES. Anyone can claim to be a Christian, any group of "clergy" can claim to be part of a so-called Christian council. Instead, my prayer is that the Lord can all give us a spirit of discernment so that we, [like Jesus described in Isaiah 11:3-4] don't judge by the hearing of the ear, or the seeing of the eye.

The Lord sent me a very frightening dream a month ago warning of wolves in sheep's clothing. People who look perfect on the outside, but who in fact are corrupt indeed.

I guess what I'm saying is, let's not be taken by surprise that there are people out there claiming to be Christian clergy, yet doing things like rebuking a politician for invoking the name of Jesus.

Jesus warned us that deception would abound, even as a sign of His soon return.

  13. Hi

I just wanted to say that I am hearing encouragement that God's message to repent is getting through. Hearts are being stirred to return to God and it is contagious.

The focus is our attitudes, as they really mirror the spirit we are walking in.

Searching our hearts, We should look especially for the attitudes that fuel satan's kingdom- hatred, anger, jealousy, bitterness- roots we need to be free of. Our choice to forgive those who are connected to these attitudes in us,(even those who may be projecting these attitudes towards us) and our desire for God to deliver us from this, will do much to quell demonic activity driving the world.

I believe God wants to break our hearts with compassion for the worst of the worst, having faith that our repentance on their behalf accomplishes much.

Laying down our lives for a brother, means believing our repentance on behalf of our lost loved ones and ancestors has the power of God to move mountains.

Our notice of evil or short-falling in others and the temptation to criticize it are the quivers for our bow, to launch prayers and intercession at whatever it is that caught our notice. This sounded to me like some kind of battle strategy that we are to walk in- killing two birds with one stone. IOW, one arrow of our prayer hits two bullseyes; the wrong-doing, rebellion, or evil that caught our attention, plus the demon that is tempting us to criticize or curse another made in God's image. I guess you could say that the opposition we encounter daily is a fair target.

When I asked about running out of time, God did not tell me. Instead,I found myself questioning whoever said that repentance of the entire nation or leadership is required ?
Who's to say it is not our repentance, those of us that belong to Him, that may prove acceptable for God to relent?

    Bless God!
