The Enemy Has Lulled You to Sleep

I  was reading I Chronicles 21 about King David when the Lord began speaking this message to me.

Where yet is My peoples' fear of Me? How is it they do not fear what I am about to do? You have fallen asleep, My people. The enemy has lulled your souls to sleep with the lie there is yet time to repent of the great evils this country has committed against Me, the Holy One of Israel.

He has lulled you to sleep in your sins in the hope you will not awaken in time that you may be saved, and of many of you this will be true for you continue to reject My warnings to you,
preferring the lies of the world in which you live. (I felt the deep sadness of the Lord when He spoke this last sentence)

You who refuse to give up your sin, I am coming to judge you soon. Do not be deceived, My children, into thinking I do not care when you sin for that is the enemy's thinking, not Mine. You shall reap what you are sowing if you refuse My ways.

Turn now while there is yet time and space for you to repent, for great is the magnitude of what I am about to do. Indeed, the whole world shall be shaken by it.

Fearful and mighty is the Holy One of Israel but My people have forgotten how strong I am in battle and fear Me not.

II Kings 19:22: Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 1:4: Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Isaiah 17:7: At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

Judges 16:19-20: And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him. And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

Prov. 6:9-11: How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

Ephesians 5:14-15: Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

  1. Wow! Wow! Wow! So I just got on my computer(11:09pm) and read the latest word you received, "The Enemy Has Lulled You to Sleep". I noticed when the Lord began speaking you were reading 1 Chron. 21...well in the middle of my praise and worship time this morning I felt the need to just open up the Word and begin reading. Needless to say I opened up to 1 Chron. 21 read that chapter and a few after that. I just got done speaking w/ my mom how I thought it was interesting when the Lord gave David a choice of three punishments and how the pestilence killed a great number of people. Anyways, as I was reading it I didn't feel like God was trying to show me something specific so I just read and continued to worship. I know that isn't much but I just though it was interesting that the Lord began speaking to you as you were reading that chapter today and during my praise and worship time I was lead to that very chapter?!? Maybe a confirmation of some sort maybe not either way praise God! :) This is like my fist time commenting on here and seeing I don't do this often I just want to thank you for being obedient to God and I lift you up often in prayer Glynda. Thanks and God Bless :)

  3. I really appreciate how you post your feelings and observations along with the Word Glynda. I do not know many Prophets who do that. I felt some more grief from the Lord last week. It was not as bad as the last time but you can almost smell something in the wind now days. I have been finding it really frustrating trying to wake up family and friends to the same urgency that I feel. We really need to sever our selves from the world but soo few people that I know are doing so or even seem to be responding to the signs I see. Some of them think they will be raptured out before 'any' hard times happen. Church history tells a different story and also biblical history. God bless you Glynda and thank you for sharing this.

  4. Ray - I agree with you, so many are not listening and it's going to be tragic for them I'm afraid. And I have also encountered so many who say "Oh, God won't judge us, Jesus died and we don't have to do anything else." Satan has sold them a pack of lies. All we can do is pray. Thanks for posting, Ray - always nice to see you on here! ~ Glynda

  5. Hello Glynda,God bless you in the name of Jesus. So many are asleep but we must stand firm on the promises of God no matter what. Trust Him.

I also wanted to share a dream that i had this past week. In the dream i was in a conference room with several people that i didn't know. Everyone got in a circle held the hands of the person to the left and right of them and began to pray.
I did the same thing. As i began to pray with my eyes closed i could see a light. This light got brighter and brighter then all of the sudden this brilliant light burst through. I quickly opened my eyes and all i could see was this amazing light. I was knocked down to the ground it was overwhelming. All the strength of my body was gone. The people surrounded me, and began to say "SHE IS SLAINED IN THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS COME UPON HER" I woke up after that.

I began to ponder this dream. What do you think the Lord is saying.
    I'm a BAPTIST!

  6. AKass - What you describe is what I have heard it feels like to be slain in the spirit. Obviously I am not a baptist, and I have been prayed for many times and had my knees go out from under me and seen lots of other folks prayed for that were slain in the spirit. Maybe the Lord wants to give you more of His spirit than you have experienced so far. God bless you - thanks for posting!

  7. Dear Glynda and believers,
I would like to encourage you to do whatever the Holy Spirit is telling you to do. (Of course test the spirits to see if it is the LORD, but once tested, DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU). Trust and obey, for there is no other way.

  8. Your blog is wonderful!

I hope you will check out my blog, too. God has given me His word from time to time. The post entitled "The Power You Have" can help all of us save even more people.

  10. This is what I have heard also.

ska55124, I read that about the waves and it was hard to follow and did not make sense as "The Enemy Has Lulled You" clearly does and with the scriptures as witness.

We have known for a while that things are and will be/ are being shaken/turned loose/removed and some of us have to still hold on to the handrails leading into God's pavillion because of the size of this movement of God.

If there be demonic attack it will be to cause us to fear, fret and falter so be aware of it.

  11. Mazie, I felt compelled to go and visit the site you are speaking of. The dream of the waves is a little confusing, but we are not always going to make sense of how someone else's dreams and visions are put into words. As you said, Glynda's words makes sense and she does a great job of putting here visions and revelations into words that are easily understood. We know that God is not the author of confusion. We have to discern and make sure someone is not just putting their own inclinations, instead of God's revealings, into words and possibly doing it for the wrong reasons. I wouldn't want to be a part of that kind of ministry.
