Why Do You Play Still

It was very late tonight, almost 3 a.m., and I was reading the word when I felt strongly the Lord wanted me to pray in the spirit. I prayed for some minutes and then the Lord spoke this message to me.

The enemy desires to sift you as wheat, My children.

Do you not see the times at hand? Do you not know what hour it has become? Why do you not make yourselves ready for My Son’s return to the earth? Why do you play still in the world and neglect your time with Me and your time in My word?

All My children who neglect these things shall suffer terrible consequences in times to come. You do not realize all that is about to happen My little ones, and I cannot reveal all to you, but heed My warning. Do not neglect your time with Me, nor your time in My holy word, for then you shall truly be unprepared for all that is about to transpire in the earth.

Psalm 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

II Timothy 3:16-17: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (17) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Matthew 4:4: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Joshua 1:8: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

  1. Thank you for the warning. we have to keep building our houses on the rock. This up coming time I wonder if many people thought were so strong in Yah are the "houses" built on sand and so many people judged as "weak" or "mousy" will be shown to ve the ones built on the rock. The storm will reveal the truth. Yahweh help us!

  2. I think Facebook has a HUGE role in distracting us from God.
(I'll be the first to admit).

I'm taking a 2-3 month from FB--check in--and take another 2-3 month break, so forth.
I've GOT to-time with God is SO much MORE important-especially in these times...

  4. Absolutea - I have also been pulling back from FB, and am thinking about getting off it completely. It became a huge distraction for me as well and also it seems the more friends you have on there, the more drama you have to deal with. Not worth it - takes not only your time but also your focus away from Him, because even when I wasn't on there, I found myself thinking about it. Thanks for posting! ~ Glynda

  5. I left Facebook about a month ago. Everytime I think of it I cringe and I am so glad I left.

I have seen sooo much down right fighting over God's Word and just plain old disputing over who's right and who's wrong senarios. I bagan to ask if we should be using our time to win souls and pray for the lost but I was 'shot' down. That was it for me.

People should know us for our love for one another and that is NOT what unsaved friends of Christians are seeing on FB. I feel it has turned away many who would have otherwise come to Jesus and it greives the heart of God. In fact I know it does because I could feel His greif.

Would you stay in a church that behaves in this manner??? If we allow just one rant on FB then our FB page is not for His Glory. IMHO. Step back and think about what a visitor would imagine if they viewed that one rant. Worse...when they stand before God and He asks why didn't they believe and they say FACEBOOK........

He left the 99 to go after the 1.

If people need to contact us for prayer we have email, a phone and some have a website.

  6. Glynda and Absoultea about FB agreed!.

Glynda Jacob, whose worship cd you reccomended in the "Bride" video you poseted Jan 1st had this to say and it is confirmation (Out of the mouths of 2 or more witnesses...)

Beloved brethern, this is exactly the condition of most christians today. Its not hard to see. The cares do not have to be bad cares, but nevertheless, anything that takes you out of your prayer closet is a care. I speak to many christians. They have no signficant type of prayer life. Im warning you, Im pleading with you, Im begging you before it is to late for you and the door will be shut in your face, GOD forbid any of us should here , depart from me, i do not know you. Seek the kigdom first before anything else. Unless your willing to forsake all you will not be worthy. TURN BACK TO him now.nOT LESS THAN 10% OF A DAY SHOULD BE SPENT IN THE PRAYER CLOSET. he SAYS OVER AND OVER AND OVER watch wATCH waTCH AROUSE YOURSELF YOUR FALLING ASLEEP WAKE UP WAKE UP O SLEEPER PAY STRICT ATTENTION WATCH AND PRAY WATCH AND PRAY LEADERSHIP IS INCLUDED IN THIS MESSAGE I LOVE YOU
    in YAH SHUA JACOB

  8. Hi there,

I have some worship channels setup on Pandora Radio to listen to while I'm working and when a song comes up that goes along with Glynda's message (or one of her recent messages) I like to share it here.

This is 'If We are the Body' by Casting Crowns. I hope the people reading this like it and that it helps to uplift you as you go about your day (link is at the bottom of this post). Actually, I found more songs while I was creating this post so I linked those as well, along with some scripture verses. There is getting to be SO much good, uplifting music out there anymore. Praise God!

Thanks for continuing to serve the purpose that the Lord has given you Glynda, and for edifying us by doing so.

    God Bless,

    Eric

  9. I was interceding for the body about this word and this is an excerpt of the word I received.

"Many will be tortured for the sake of My Name. It is easy to proclaim His Name in the feel good church where everyone is happy and well fed, but when you are subjected to intense physical pain and mental anguish the story becomes much different. The road is about to become much darker than you have ever imagined. Bibles and other books will be banned and taken away. Listen My Children, the hour is much later than you think. Soon, destruction will be at your doorstep and you are unprepared. Unless you come and truly devote your life to Me you will fall. I love you and wish none to perish, but I cannot force you to come to Me. I will not drag you in this walk. You have to make the choice and the priority to follow out of love. I will not make that choice for you. Come and wash yourselves of your sin, you are welcome in My Kingdom."

  10. In addition to spending time in prayer and storing the Word in your heart, I want to strongly recommend that you get your hands on as many books about the persecuted church as you can. We are going to need the Word in our hearts in days to come, but we are also going to need to know the stories of Y'shua's faithfulness to His people in modern days, so that we can know WHO He is and HOW we can expect him to move on our behalf. There are many remarkable stories not found in the Bible, that continue to prove His faithfulness and miraculous power to sustain and comfort, even in humanly impossible circumstances.

The Holy Spirit has compelled me to buy as many of these books as possible to store up these stories in my heart, alongside the Word. The following books have ministered incredibly to me: "The Heavenly Man" by Brother Yun and Paul Hattaway, "Back to Jerusalem" by Paul Hattaway, "If I Perish" by Esther Ahn Kim, "Project Pearl" by Brother David, and books by Corrie ten Boom. I am currently reading books by Dorothy and Freddie Sun. "The Pastor's Wife" by Sabina Wurmbrand is a historical account of the Communist rule in Romania earlier in the last century, and I believe it would be wise to read it to understand the severity of what will soom be a fierce reality in the US. Many of us have already been seriously persecuted by the US federal government, and in the midst of fiery trials we have learned to submit to the will of our Savior even in great pain though we have lost everything that is precious to us but Him. We have also learned the ways of our godless enemies -- not to emulate them, but to understand their tactics and their weapons so we will know how to stand boldly against them, though to listen to the propaganda news one would thing we live in the happiest and free-est nation on the planet.

Yes, facebook is part of the problem. Not just a distraction, but a trap that includes tracking software to monitor all of our internet movements, and it has encouraged each of us to document our lives in detail leaving a digital record that will never be erased, including pictures that are stored for the use of photo recognition software – the same type of software now installed in various US airports for the purpose of detecting undesirables who might try to fly. This is not child's play, yet we in this nation have treated it like a fun and flippant game.

My wise family members and I have refused to post photos or details about our lives on our facebook accounts, and we do not use them to chat with friends or family. I only use mine to get coupons, but even that has given me some pause and I have prayed often about whether or not to continue.
