One Thing

Peace. Be Still.

My people are fretting over many inconsequential matters. Only one thing is needful – your time with Me, yet that is so easily sacrificed by so many of you.

I desire you would place Me first in your lives – not last.

Am I not your God?

If I am, then treat me accordingly.

Mark 4:39: And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Luke 10:42: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

  1. Amen and amen. As we approach the end of things of this world eyes continue to be focused on what is going on around us and occasional "God what do I do?". With your eyes focused on Him it becomes inconsequential, the what.

Thank You Jesus for speaking to us, thank you Glynda for receiving it.

  2. What does He mean with inconsequential? I felt to be involved in that, unfortunately I'm fighting against something serious like a dear one's illness. No much time to pray, feeling depressed for that. Maybe it's referred to people who are waisting time in stupid things.

  3. Germy Cor - Caring for a loved one is definitely not inconsequential - He means silly pursuits that have no Kingdom value, I think. ~ Glynda

  4. Inconsequential means things like watching the latest TV comedy show, playing video arcade games, going to the shopping mall and talking about the latest fashion dress. That kind of stuff.
