Period of Rest

After each time of refinement, I grant a period of rest to My Children, to bask in the newness of blessings in their lives. A period of respite to catch your breath. This is one of My Rewards to you for submitting, and enduring.

Endurance is a precious treasure, and very greatly valued, especially in times to come.

Do not despise this time.

Zechariah 4:10  For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Psalm 23:2  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Matthew 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

  3. I thought about it all day wondering, What does God mean?... "Do not despise this time." I'm looking forward to rest, so I can't imagine despising it! Here it is:
I believe He means that when the season of REST comes, to truly rest and don't allow distractions. I'm being forewarned that I need to guard against the enemy tactics to feel inclined through human emotion to helping someone or doing something that will drain me. NOT MY ASSIGNMENT! This "rest" is the pools of water and refreshing springs along the highway of enduring...(Psalms 84:5-7). It's a special time of nourishment for all the warriors out there. He's preparing me, and imparting strength, so I'm equipped for the next battle. The rest is ordained. Thank You God for warning me to guard it.
    Joy!
