When you paraphrase your decree, you are also studying His Word and spending time with Him as you look for the scriptures that line up with your petitions. If someone else did the work for you, then you would miss out on spending quality time with the Lord, and meditating on His word. Also, the Holy Spirit gets engaged in your quest, and He speaks to you so intimately as you ask, seek, and knock. It's so intimate and special. Now, a minister can ask for you, seek for you, and knock for you...and use their faith for you...but then you miss out on the intimacy. The intimacy is the best part. I'm writing out my decrees tonight. After I got this word, I just knew it was for me. I know it's going to take some time...but I'm gonna whip that mountain and tear it up.
