But back to the ori...Very interesting, all of this. But back to the original blog post - about storing grain for the little ones. There are several ways to look at this -

A) when things get bad, it makes a big difference whether you live in the middle of NYC where there will be looting and chaos very soon, or in a rural area where it will take some time- no idea how long - before people get that desperate. This strategy would work better for some than for others. Here in Iowa we have tall grain elevators just FULL of God's generous harvest and the farmers I know would give generously before they would watch their neighbors starve. It worked for Joseph.

B) maybe the Lord wants us to store up stuff to GIVE, along with taking care of the little ones, which would be a great witnessing opportunity ... especially when the recipients ask, "how did you know this would happen? and what is going to happen NEXT?" Sharing even a tiny amount worked well for the widow of Zarephath. Wouldn't you just love it if somebody knocked on your door asking for food and turned out to be a modern-day Elijah or Elisha? Especially at such a time? Besides, I find it perplexing that some Christians talk about protecting their food with weapons. I'd have a hard time killing someone who was so desperate to feed themselves and their own little ones that they were trying to take my food. Suppose I did kill them - then their little ones would surely starve, or worse, and for what? I have a few more meals in a world that is doomed anyway? Not worth it. I'd rather give away my last meal, with a message of blessing and forgiveness, I think that is what Christ would want of us. I interpret Love thy neighbor AS THYSELF to mean that another person's hunger is just as important as my own, and I need to share, not eat while they starve.

C)Remember that joke about if you're out camping with buddies and a bear starts chasing you, you don't have to run faster than the bear to be safe, just faster than the slowest person? We're not trying to store up enough to get us thru the Trib, just enough to make it to the Rapture! Which could happen tomorrow, for all we know, and then all that stored stuff will go to ..... whoever finds it, and let's hope they also find stacks of Bibles.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-9553140078785343552011-06-17T16:09:19.478-05:002011-06-17T16:09:19.478-05:00Absolutely Loren!
Everything you wrote about the ...Absolutely Loren!

Everything you wrote about the Federal Reserve and our monetary policy is true! Thank You for taking the time to post this.

It is very important that the deception going on in the financial arena is understood. The fear mongering and fabrication surrounding this issue is over the top.

The powers that be are trying to focus our efforts on issues that not only divide us and waste our energies, but are ,in truth, merely rabbit trails. For example, as you mentioned, the debate over balancing the budget, and defaulting on our debt are absolutely non-issues. The fear generated from these two ideas is specifically designed to manipulate and control us.

Other manipulations include: the divisiness of Republican vs. Democrat, debate about gold-backed dollars, the absurd lie that "too- big- to- fail banking institutions
will pull down our entire ecomomy if we do not bail them out. Corruption wants us to look at and fight about what areas of the budget are 'causing' our problem- Pointing our fingers at 'useless'
welfare recipients, homeowners that 'indulged' over their head in 'mansions' that are now irresponsibly in foreclosure, state and county bankruptcy and withdrawal of local services-these are the very issues that the corrupt orchestrated!

As you pointed out: the ONLY issue,
besides the deep-seated corruption, is the FEDERAL RESERVE.
It must be unseated!

And this is truth: we the people
have the solution in constitutional
authority for congress to coin our money.

We have got to face the truth that international banking interests own our country; lock, stock and barrel. From the higher court system
the oval office, congress, senate, regulatory agencies-all are opposed to a free america. This is where 'evil is good' and patriotic,
God-fearing, citizens of integrity are 'evil' domestic terrorists.

I believe we will be called upon to stand for righteousness, specifically in this financial area. We've not heard the last of bail outs for banking, nor are our savings and 401k's safe from pillaging.

To quickly get up to speed in this area, I highly recommend "WEB OF DEBT" by Ellen Brown. the website is www.webofdebt.com. Her book and articles are accurate, easy to understand, and provide the facts and information we need to protect us from this deception.

Congress was manipulated and blackmailed into believing satan's agenda when they approved (and are still approving) the banking bail outs. They resisted the truth of our constitutional right to take back the authority of our money system. They were in fear about the fabricated 'problems'.
WEB OF DEBT exposes these fabrications and provides workable solutions- truly empowering for we-the- people.

Stop debating whether obama has legally overstepped the war powers act- stop debating whether social security or food stamps should be limited-- and instead ask yourself why we're debating it in the first place. My constitution says government is to represent the people!kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266388415175562455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-49352752567226704122011-06-17T04:11:04.056-05:002011-06-17T04:11:04.056-05:00(continued-end)
To understand today's economi...(continued-end)

To understand today's economics, and the politics associated with economics, and the teetering on the edge of the abyss, it is important to fully understand the foundational role the Federal Reserve (and lets not leave out the associated role of Wall Street) has played in bringing our Nation to its knees.

You are not the reason our Nation is in debt. THEY ARE! But you are the one who is being billed,
punished, and even jailed - not the real culprits - they receive bonuses and promotions - in this life, but in the next will be the opposite - many fold opposite!

Where we have failed is in calling a spade a spade and in requiring evil to give an account. We have failed to come to grips that the Federal Reserve is an evil and vile entity, designed by evil
and vile men, beholden unto Satan and his kingdom of darkness (debt) masquerading as light (asset).

The financial system that we have been under since 1913 was designed to do exactly what we are seeing transpire today. And whether it explodes, or implodes, the end effect will be "crash and burn".

So Christian, how much more so is it important to pray for God's direction in all one's preparations, because when He can no longer justify holding back such evil (the intended outcome of the Federal Reserve), then that evil will come crashing down on all of us, Christian or not, prepared or not.

The judgment that is coming soon will be very ugly .. and get uglier as time goes by - life will not return to "how it used to be".

Pray. Be humble. Seek God's face and will. Prepare now as best you can with what you have. And give thanks to Jesus, that you are His, no matter what happens - never let go of your salvation through Christ!

Thank you for reading such a long posting, but I felt it important to understand some of the background of what's going on today and where it's leading, in relation to Glynda's posting above.

God bless.Lorenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13915869677539830329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-61783119041847237402011-06-17T03:57:15.648-05:002011-06-17T03:57:15.648-05:00(continued)

And so it will be today.

We have been taught very well to be "gentle as doves" (and obey Romans 13), but we have failed
miserably to also be "wise as serpents" .. and to "resist the devil", even when in the form of the
"Federal Reserve".

The majority of Christians (myself included) in this Nation have defiled themselves through the use
of the vile diabolic Federal Reserve Note - a truly satanic instrument of endless debt and
destruction.

Every time you spend a dollar (ie, a "Note" of -$1 value), you increase the Federal debt directly by
a dollar. And with the multiplier effect of 7, every dollar you spend, you increase the debt
indirectly by 7 fold!

.. an ever-expanding ever-increasing-in-velocity black hole!

Through using the Federal Reserve Note, we will never be free from its debt until it is abolished, and replaced with the United States Note, with the full backing of gold (which is more so needed in
international transactions than domestic).

(continued)Lorenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13915869677539830329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-43821599865977792892011-06-17T03:37:43.017-05:002011-06-17T03:37:43.017-05:00(continued)

All Congress has to do is pass legislation
disbanding the Federal Reserve and transferring all of its activities back under the Department of the Treasury where they rightfully belong.

Then the Treasury would print and issue "United States Notes" - at NO INTEREST! - instead of the Federal Reserve placing orders for Notes with the Treasury and having the Treasury print and issue
the Notes - at INTEREST - and adding the costs onto the taxpayers' tab!

The Department of Treasury is owned by "We the People", and so cannot (should not) charge interest. (There would be no need to charge interest, nor for an income tax, because if more money was needed, under the lawful enacting of Congress, more money would simply be created to cover whatever needed to be covered - at no interest.)

But the Federal Reserve is a private banking consortium, and as a private business can charge whatever it wants (front-end as interest, back-end as income tax), as well as make whatever private (back door) deals it wants (as in giving away trillions in bailouts to friends and foreign entities - adding it all onto the taxpayers' tab).

The last person who seriously attempted to tackle this vile issue was "removed from office"
permanently - JFK!

With the removal of JFK, LBJ and friends (and so-on since) could plunder the American purse full-throttle, until we have what we have today - literally teetering at the edge of the abyss on a
day-by-day basis.

(continued)Lorenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13915869677539830329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-49659324863904690402011-06-17T02:56:34.816-05:002011-06-17T02:56:34.816-05:00(continued)

But
even if such spending is capped with a Balanced Budget Amendment, or at least throttled down
significantly as is currently being proposed, it will eventually implode.

Whether the economy explodes, or implodes, the end effect is the same - wholesale slaughter! - the
INTENDED OUTCOME!

The Federal Reserve System, from its inception, was, and will prove to be, the perfect "no-win" scenario enforced upon our Nation.

(continued)Lorenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13915869677539830329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-81733219468068917562011-06-17T02:31:27.726-05:002011-06-17T02:31:27.726-05:00(continued)

And now the chickens have come home to roost, and we have to make some very difficult choices on what government programs to cut (a divide and conquer strategy).

But the truth is, we aren't in horrific debt because we are living way beyond our means ("we"
aren't, but the government is), but because we live in a debt-based economy because of a debt-based
currency pretending to be an asset-based "American Dollar". (Once one understands the truth of it all, it's all BOGUS! but with real dire consequences.)

Uncle Sam spends and spends (steals and steals) with wild abandon, placing the burden of such spending not upon itself, but upon those who have no voice against being plundered and forced to
pay for Uncle's spendthrift ways.

If someone took your credit card and spent and spent until beyond its limit, you'd have every right to bring charges against that person and receive compensation.

But with Uncle Sam, you have no right whatsoever for compensation for what has been stolen from you. And without private property rights, all the other Amendments, specifically the Bill of Rights, have no basis nor validity.

And this is why the Feds, and law enforcement on every level, especially post 9-11, can cordon off
"free speech zones" at political rallies. And this is why they can keep passing more and more restrictive laws on 2nd Amendment requirements (when the last clause of that Amendment stipulates
"shall not be infringed"! - meaning, HANDS OFF this Amendment!). And this is why they can just simply enter and search your car, your premises, your person, without a warrant, take whatever they want, and even shoot your dog .. all without "probable cause" and without DUE PROCESS!

Because "due process" is not required if the "property" so purchased has not been acquired through the use of Constitutional "lawful currency".

Without lawfully secured private property, you have no lawful rights.

There is little left in the entire United States that is "private property" anymore as defined by the Constitution, except for those persons who live like kings and have the means to ensure that their "property" remains "private" as defined by the Constitution.

You can be sure that the Federal Reserve has their property "private". On every one of their "notes", they have imprinted their name "Federal Reserve", and the fact that it is a "Note".

The Federal Reserve is neither "federal", nor "reserve", but a private banking consortium taking advantage of the protections afforded through the Constitution, with the full sanction of the Federal Government to fleece the entire nation,
as well as the world, with their worth-less-than-nothing debt-based "notes".

(continued)Lorenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13915869677539830329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-2797598877921805762011-06-17T01:18:21.397-05:002011-06-17T01:18:21.397-05:00(continued)

I appreciate the encouragement.

I think your statement sums this issue up really well:

What I am understanding is that as He is leading me into more intimacy with Him, more of my own
warts and wrinkles are becoming exposed. As He walks me through this process, I have more and more testimony of His majesty and lovingkindness with which to edify the body of Christ.

Glynda's prophetic word was focused on God's love for us. So many people get sidetracked looking at the signs and reacting to all the bad news that we forget that God is love and does not desire for us to be caught up in this mess. We should be edifying each other with the love we experience in our intimate time with God instead of stirring up hysteria. It's great to be aware of what is happening, but we can't forget about our first love!LJShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02872644034679649732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-30127817541605854322011-06-16T12:10:31.552-05:002011-06-16T12:10:31.552-05:00I feel compelled to agree with, and add to David L...I feel compelled to agree with, and add to David Larsen's comments posted on June 11th. We are supposed to love, honor and obey Jesus Christ our Saviour. He is the "only" way to the Father. He came to us in the flesh by the Father, as the son of God, Emmanuel (God with us). A lot of people do forget that God is the Ultimate Supreme Creator. Jesus is a direct offspring of God,(for lack of a better term), If a spirit entity has DNA, then Jesus has that same Dna and looks like our Heavenly Father. But they are a separate entity. John 14:9 ...He that hath seen me has seen the Father... To give further evidence of this and to tie in with the topic of discussion of "Weeping and Mourning in America"; What did Christ do just before he was crucified? He prayed to the Heavenly Father as we are supposed to do and do it in Jesus name to give God our credentials as a Christian. (Using mohammed, buddah, mother mary,etc.etc.etc.,ain't gonna get it done. You may as well be praying to a tree! Sorry, all you tree huggers out there.) Christ prayed to the Father to remove this cup from him. You can read all about it in MATT. Chap. 26. Not once, not twice, but three times. Now some preachers and so-called scholars will try to convince you that Jesus was having a moment of weakness. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! This just shows their stupidity and ignorance of God's word. If they believed the only perfect man(in the flesh, the son of the living God) was weak, then, well, I'll just say I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. Remember, Jesus said, "I have foretold you all things" He was speaking of the scriptures in what we call, The Old Testament. Go to Psalms- Chap. 11, 73 and 75. You will read there and understand what Jesus was praying about. He was making a plea to God for some other other way of getting thru to the masses of sinners in the world in the end times rather than pouring out the CUP OF WRATH on them. See, Jesus, being in the flesh, knew what a struggle it was in dealing with issues and temptations of the flesh, for everyone. God makes it very clear; in Revelation, where John (the pensman) was given the words,90+ years after the Crucifixion, that he had denied Christ's request to find another way. It is very clear God's cup of wrath will be poured out on his children. And, there will be much weeping and mourning. I am sorry for the lost and misled, for their sorrow will be much worse. I feel as though it has just begun my friends. Get your house in order quickly! The dollar is about to collapse and with that will come God's wrath upon this most blessed but most sinful and unthankful nation ever. Pray to God, your Father, but do it in
the name of Jesus Christ.mctreadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05992911944243658603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-55925435932232734402011-06-16T07:22:32.922-05:002011-06-16T07:22:32.922-05:00If the Lord instructs me to store up grain, or mak...If the Lord instructs me to store up grain, or make other preparations, then to me, it seems simple, it would be disobedient for me not to do that. Bill Gross, manager of the world...Second Post:

Bill Gross, manager of the world's largest bond fund, has put 4% of his fund short U.S. government bonds. Just consider that for a minute: The most powerful fixed-income manager in the world (not just in America) is selling the U.S. Treasury short.

The University of Texas endowment fund recently took physical delivery of $1 billion gold bars. That's an enormous bet from some of the wealthiest and best-informed investors in the world that the U.S. monetary system falls apart.

Finally, in what we believe is the ultimate death knell for the U.S. dollar, our trading partners are moving out of the dollar and into gold. Mexico, for example, one of our most important trading partners, just purchased almost 100 tons of gold.

All around the world, more and more central banks are selling dollars and buying gold. They're doing so because they can plainly see America's credit has become unreliable and the value of the dollar is likely to decline.

If you think you might be trading in something other than U.S. dollars in the future, you might not want to be holding U.S. dollars. You might want to be holding that currency.

And if you can't hold that currency, consider holding gold.

#Anamchara Comment: Let's rephrase that last one shall we to this: "And if you can't hold that currency or gold, try storing up treasure in heaven where neither moths eat, nor rust consumes".Anamcharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15302342131015876938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-71888183696125435062011-06-15T08:21:02.499-05:002011-06-15T08:21:02.499-05:00Snippet from another blog:

Russia S...Snippet from another blog:

May 31, 2011

Russia Says IMF Chief Jailed For Discovering All US Gold Is Gone

By: Sorcha Faal

A new report prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Federal Security Service (FSB) says that former International Monetary Fund (IMF) Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn [photo with Putin top left] was charged and jailed in the US for sex crimes on May 14th after his discovery that all of the gold held in the United States Bullion Depository located at Fort Knox [photo 2nd left] was ‘missing and/or unaccounted’ for.

This FSB report further states that upon Strauss-Kahn raising his concerns with American government officials close to President Obama he was ‘contacted’ by ‘rogue elements’ within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) who provided him ‘firm evidence’ that all of the gold reported to be held by the US ‘was gone’.

Interesting to note about all of these events is that one of the United States top Congressman, and 2012 Presidential candidate, Ron Paul has long stated his belief that the US government has lied about its gold reserves held at Fort Knox. So concerned had Congressman Paul become about the US government and the Federal Reserve hiding the truth about American gold reserves he put forward a bill in late 2010 to force an audit of them, but which was subsequently defeated by Obama regime forces.
When directly asked by reporters if he believed there was no gold in Fort Knox or the Federal Reserve, Congressman Paul gave the incredible reply, “I think it is a possibility.”

Bizarre reports emanating from the US for years, however, suggest there is no gold to sell, and as we can read as posted in 2009 on the ViewZone.Com news site:
“In October of 2009 the Chinese received a shipment of gold bars. Gold is regularly exchanges between countries to pay debts and to settle the so-called balance of trade. Most gold is exchanged and stored in vaults under the supervision of a special organization based in London, the London Bullion Market Association (or LBMA). When the shipment was received, the Chinese government asked that special tests be performed to guarantee the purity and weight of the gold bars. In this test, four small holed are drilled into the gold bars and the metal is then analyzed.
Officials were shocked to learn that the bars were fake. They contained cores of tungsten with only a outer coating of real gold. What's more, these gold bars, containing serial numbers for tracking, originated in the US and had been stored in Fort Knox for years. There were reportedly between 5,600 to 5,700 bars, weighing 400 oz. each, in the shipment!”

To the practical effects on the global economy should it be proved that the US, indeed, has been lying about its gold reserves, Russia’s Central Bank yesterday ordered the interest rate raised from 0.25 to 3.5 percent and Putin ordered the export ban on wheat and grain crops lifted by July 1st in a move designed to fill the Motherlands coffers with money that normally would have flowed to the US.

© May 31, 2011 EU and US all rights reserved. Permission to use this report in its entirety is granted under the condition it is linked back to its original source at WhatDoesItMean.Com.

#Anamchara Comment: America in practice is broke, can't pay its debts, has no gold to trade, and is in a worse shape than Greece in the EU.

Lookout private citizen in America, your houses, cars and land will be sold off to the nearest foreign creditor without your consent and against your will to pay off these debts! And you will be evicted by armed force by the Feds (FEMA) from all three if you dare to protest or resist!Anamcharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15302342131015876938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-72219023489376418572011-06-15T08:08:16.291-05:002011-06-15T08:08:16.291-05:00see-dunamis - Thank you!see-dunamis - Thank you!Just Praise Himhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05656377662821776009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-6453873446588610532011-06-15T06:05:09.102-05:002011-06-15T06:05:09.102-05:00Storing up foodstuffs and weapons to protect your ...Storing up foodstuffs and weapons to protect your family is not wrong. God gave us a brain to think with. Most have common sense. To not use it is like saying, OK God, I'm lazy and I just want you do all this for me supernaturally. To rely on
God is ok to a point. But when you say I'm just gonna let God do everthing for me,me-me-me; well that is just stupid lazy and selfish and I think it then becomes sin. Who in their right mind would not think about providing food and protection for the little children and the elderly? You have to think in terms of what can I do to help others first, and then yourself comes later.mctreadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05992911944243658603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-31686256331881666212011-06-15T01:40:44.634-05:002011-06-15T01:40:44.634-05:00THANK YOU LOREN! I couldn't agree more, when you said:

"If God instructs to lay up grain, then lay up grain (and anything else), because He is more than able to protect you from those who would steal, kill, and destroy to take what isn't theirs."

My God's arm has not been shortened so that it can not save!

Remember John 2:1-11, The water into wine miracle at the Galilee marriage? On the third day, it is recorded that 'the wine failed', and 'they had no (more) wine'.

Mary immediately went and told this to Jesus, and then 5"said unto the servants, Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it." 6And there were set there, six water pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7And Jesus said unto them, Fill the water pots with water. Then they filled them up to the brim. 8Then He said unto them, Draw out now, and bear to the govenor of the feast. So they bear it."

When the govenor tasted "the water that was made into wine", he declared it to be better than the first wine that had been served!

How much is a firkin? A firkin is 100 pounds. That means Jesus blessed them with one thousand and eight hundred pounds of choice wine! (Taken from the Geneva 1599 Bible, commentary section.)

It is recorded, that because of this beginning of miracles, Jesus "showed forth His glory; and His disciples believed on Him."

Personally, I had just asked the Lord if I should also try to store up some grain for my 'little ones', when I felt led by the Holy Spirit to check if there was a new post on the Wings of Prophecy blogspot. After reading it, I knew I had my answer!

(For me, my 'little ones' are baby chicks, whom the Lord has directed me and mine to raise up at this time, so that they will be there for other believers to help sustain them in their time of need.)

Glenda,
So many more people read your blog, than you may be aware of. I believe that is what the Lord is trying to say - not that it's wrong to store up food, but that it's wrong to trust in that as opposed to trusting in Him as our ultimate provision. God bless you - thank you so much for posting this!Just Praise Himhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05656377662821776009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-29754865707493765362011-06-14T12:57:01.250-05:002011-06-14T12:57:01.250-05:00Okay, I prayed about the food thing. What has come...Okay, I prayed about the food thing. What has come into my spirit is: those who are *trusting* in food stores and/or weapons will not be delivered in the days ahead because they are trusting in the arm of the flesh. This does not mean that food is not to be stored, or that storing food is ungodly. There is a way to store food without putting your trust in it. That is, we should store it up because it is prudent to do so, as Joseph did in Egypt, but we must keep our trust in God alone. There is a subtle, but important, difference here. If you make yourself your own provider, then God will not step in and usurp your choice, and you will reap the fruit of your own plsns and solutions.whitethronebookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01046217558991521266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-17168673291930132272011-06-14T03:44:39.828-05:002011-06-14T03:44:39.828-05:00VJM said, "All this to say, then, that let...VJM said, "All this to say, then, that let's be careful to jump to judging conclusions."

"Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge." Know thy enemy, and plan accordingly 10 steps ahead of the enemies' ten step ahead.

With unlimited funds and time, all the preparation in the world is still no guarantee of success.

But no preparation is a near guarantee of failure.

I vote for doing the best that you can with what you have, being in prayer always in your plans, for God will lead you with the right strategies and preparations. And maybe some of the excess, if you should have any, can/will be used to help others, as a witness for Christ.

Do the best that you can, and leave the rest in God's hands. That's all that any of us can do.

Alive or dead, we are Christ's. That's the bottom line for me.Lorenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13915869677539830329noreply@blogger.com
