Be Vigilant

My people have become slack while waiting for My words to come to pass. They mistakenly think they have more time than they do. I desire they would stay vigilant and remain watchful, for the enemy often lulls them to sleep in this way.

My Kingdom does not operate on your system of time, My people. Once I have spoken something, it is sure to come to pass for it is ordained by Me. I created all things and I created time as well, that you may measure it, however in eternity there is no time.

Things are coming soon in the earth you will not understand. The enemy moves quickly against My people in the earth and he has made many plans of destruction. Some of his plans will fail but others shall succeed. It is necessary that each of you listen for My leading and pay heed to the leadings inside your spirit that come from Me for I shall lead you to safety in this way from events that are planned against you.

Days grow darker and darker in the earth and evil abounds on every side. My word has foretold these things and much more, but there is even more yet to come that you know not of. Be vigilant against the enemy of your souls. Be found watching and praying at all times for danger lurks in places you cannot see. I will protect you if you obey Me in all things.

There is much work to be done to bring the harvest of souls in to My kingdom. I desire My people would spend time each day interceding for lost souls, that more may be saved from eternal damnation. My people are about too many things that have no eternal value, they are still playing in the world.

Do you not know the lateness of the hour, My children? Do you not realize you will answer to Me for how you spend your time now? Do you not desire that your heavenly reward would be great? Or has the enemy lulled you to sleep while you waited on My words to come to pass in your life?

Many of you have suffered long and laborious trials, trials where you lost many of your earthly possessions. You cried out to Me and asked why. Many of you suffer still in your walk with Me, fighting to hang on to your faith. I say to you now that your faith shall be greatly rewarded. Your perseverance shall be greatly rewarded. There is nothing you do for My name's sake that I do not notice. There is nothing you do for Me that you will not be rewarded for and greatly so.

For some of you I shall reveal to you the reasons for your long trials in days to come. Others will know later. Some of you, however, have brought your trials upon yourselves when you did not heed My voice of warning to you at an earlier time.

Often I am blamed for trials My children suffer which they brought upon themselves by sin, ignoring My warnings or other disobedience.  This should not be so, My children, for I am a loving and a faithful father. How can I keep you safe if you will not obey Me?

How will you survive what is coming when you continue to go your own way?

Mark 13:33: Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Isaiah 60:2: For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

I Peter 5:8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Ephesians 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Matthew 12:36: But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

  2. Randy, Thank you for your comment. This site is for all Christians, the Lord did not say it was only for those left behind.

The tribulation question is one that has been widely debated. I do not offer an opinion one way or the other. If you would like to post your view on the tribulation, you are welcome to do so in the forum section - I'm sure you would get many responses there.

Have a great weekend Randy - Blessings, Glynda

  3. I believe many people try to obey Him and fail often. I don't know why they fail--their fallen nature, temptation from Satan, genetic defects?
I believe the Lord forgives those who try to obey Him and fail often. And pick themselves up and try again. So I do devoutly hope that the Rapture will take us from this seething place of increasing evil and take from us our sin nature, and make us whole, and let us live in peace with our Heavenly Father.

  4. Sarah - Wow - thank you so much for that comment! I believe that may explain why a lot of people are going through so much persecution right now! Blessings to you ~ Glynda

  5. "My people are about too many things that have no eternal value, they are still playing in the world."

Seems to be a word missing her from the type up? Is it "lose?"

This definitely speaks to me and is something I need to hear as I do periodically lose heart in waiting out for words and promises that seem so far fetched and far off but in my heart I do beleive. Even though I may become disheartened at times, I stay the course as what else can I do? We can;t afford to go off track now in this late hour when disaster coudl strike at any time. I just pray that some individuals in my family are ready and put aside putting things off as NOW is the day for reconciliations, forgiveness, love and grace.

    Ty, Glynda.

  6. Glynda, I think your response is perfect to the pre-trib rapture interpretation mentioned above.

I used to also interpret scripture as such but over time I have come to see that this view is relatively modern for the church and in fact the 2nd coming at the end and the rapture coudl be the same. I see Christians through out history have not escaped having to also suffer tribulations on the earth and see no reason why it would be different now, esp. when considering how many believers are ALREADY suffering unimagined horrors around the world that coudl be no worse than anything to come.

the sad thing is that some pre-trib rapture people seem to think they will escape all the world's calamities when we know in the end it will the worst ever and when we consider how much the church already suffers here in places why on earth should it not also get bad for us, alot worse than now?

God has also told countless many faithful like you to prepare spiritually for very very hard times of persecution and destruction to come. You are definitely not the only faithful one to have these messages.

God is looking to clean up and strengthen his church.

  7. Randy. It's so sad to see that so many American Christians are deluded with pre-trib heresy.America is filled with false prophets and teachers like no other country. Pre- rapture and even rapture is something not even heard of among Christians in many countries. I went through hardship, tests and trials myself and was greatly strenghtened by them. I know it was done to prepare me for what is coming. Re-read the Bible, especially the parts about last days and Revelation. Do not listen to TV preachers and teachers, listen to Holy Spirit and the Bible. The pre-trib heresy is deception planned by satan so that lots of Chrisitans will fall away when they are not rescued. How about these verses here:

    Thessalonians 2

    The Man of Lawlessness

1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Cannot you really see what it says here? Our Lord Jesus was perseccuted and murdered,His disciples as well plus milions of Christians since, plus thousands of Christians right now. Do you think American Christians waiting for pre- trib rapture are any better or hollier than all the others all over the world? I was shaken dramatically by Holy Spirit when I was still a baby Christian, not to trust anybody but Jesus only and the Bible. And it was very powerful warning. You can read here how another Christian like you was awakened by trying to find the truth. And please, remember, we are supposed to love the truth not to love our imaginations and desires. Hope you will understand and get ready not for escape but for dying for your Lord Jesus Christ. Anyway, this is interesting that this doctrine is new; it was never taught or even discussed prior to the 1830’s, if you would like to have open mind and have a look at very good research on this topic, it's here http://www.intothyword.org/apps/articles/default.asp?articleid=43937&columnid=

  8. there is no such thing as a secret rapture, read your Bible. Christ will be seen by all. it will be heard by all. it is not quiet. He is coming back to get us, in the sky big and bold people. Please read it for yourself. It is there. Christ has promised us thru not out of the last days keep studying.

  9. Thank you for obeying the Lord in giving out this timely word, Glynda! We must be prepared! Whether a rapture takes place before or after doesn't really matter. WE must be about the FAther's business. Personally, I think the tribulation has already started. Tell those dear Christians in Egypt who are being slaughtered because they are Christians or those in Africa being beheaded for the cause of Christ that the tribulation hasn't started. Just because American Christians haven't faced much persecution yet, doesn't mean that we are immune. What I have read in the parables of Jesus is that when the reaper came he took out the tares first and left the wheat for last. That seems to indicate that the wheat will see the things coming on the earth, too.
But the main thing is that we be prepared by seeking His Kingdom and His Righteousness first and those things that are eternal.
I, too, have felt an urgency to pray and intercede as never before. We must have out lamps lit and ready!!
Thanks for obeying the Lord in sharing this Word from Him!!
    God bless your ministry!

  10. "Just a person" hit it on the head with their comment. Many verses in the bible tell us what it will be like, and there's the "Every eye will see him" thing, so there's no secret there.

It amazes me how may people have a bible, and really have no idea what it says, but choose to follow the traditions of men.

  11. "Just about every person I come across who doesn’t believe in the pretribulation rapture believes so because of one main reason and it is this. They say that the teaching of a pretribulation rapture did not even show up until John Nelson Darby who lived 1800-1882, and he was the first person to teach on a pretribulation rapture."

John Nelson Darby was not the first person in the Church to teach a pretribualtation rapture! Ephraem the Syrian wrote about this long before Darby did. Author and prophecy teacher Grant R. Jeffrey gives some of the facts The early Christian writer and poet, Ephraem the Syrian, (A.D. 306 - 373) was a major theologian of the early Byzantine Eastern Church. He was born near Nisbis, in the Roman province of Syria, near present-day Edessa, Turkey. Some scholars suggested that this manuscript was written several centuries later (5th or 6th century) but definitely before the birth of Islam in 622. However William Bousset, one of the greatest scholars on ancient eschatology, concluded in his book The Antichrist Legend that it was written by Ephraem the Syrian before A.D. 373.1 Andrew R. Anderson wrote in his book Alexander's Gate that he accepted the early date as being valid.2

This critically important prophecy manuscript from the fourth century of the Church era reveals a very clear statement about the pretribulational return of Christ to take His elect saints home to heaven to escape the coming Tribulation. For additional details read the article Examining an ancient Pre-tribulation Rapture statement on this web site.

Now I want to share with you a short section from what Ephraem of Syria wrote. “For all the saints and elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sin.”-Ephraem of Syria

Ephraem’s text alone shoots down the mistaken notion or view that the pretribulation was some new teaching made up by Darby. Maybe anyone who still thinks the prerapture of the the Church was not taught should do research on a sect know as the Dolicinites who were around 1304. The Dolicinites held to a pretribulational rapture theory similar to the view many of us in the church hold to today.

  17. For one thing there will be hard times before any kind of catching away takes place. Two plus Two = Four, and it's plain and simple that the Lord knows his own, so it doesn't matter what you believe, what matters the most is, are you acknowledging the Lord in all your ways, and if not then your not ready either way.. So be very careful in who you are calling deceived because the Lord knows his own, so don't place your selves above the rest because it's not good to fight against the hand of God..
All the pertib Christians that I know personally also know that hard times are ahead of us because no one knows the time or even the hour the Lord will come. The same with those that are looking forward to go through the tribulation.. If you believe in going through the tribulation then you aready know when the Lord is coming because he's always on time right at the end of the tribulation at the end of seven years.. We who don't believe in going through the tribulation have no idea when our Lord will come.

I don't want to take away from Glynda's message here and I do understand where she is coming from.. God has his hand on Glynda

Glynda I emailed you about the LORD telling me to stand vigilant the day I read this. I pray this encourages you as it did me.
Hey Sarah Bev! Recently being persecuted like not as before. This is okay with me as we are given strength and words to say and I agree it's preparation for later times.
I even had a dream of someone accusing me of changing the light of the LORD into darkness. I exhort all to be ready to stand firm in faith even if unexpected people persecute you. Do not be offended friends it has been written.
You will be accused of evil.
Please read John 15 and 16
I love you all please pray for each other. Our flesh needs to be mortified, bleh!

  20. Glynda,
Sorry, I did not see the part about the forum. This is my first time posting. The reason I posted was because a number of the posts are claiming there is not going to be a rapture, and to go as far as to say that people who believe that are deluded and do not read their Bibles. I was just posting all the evidence and scriptures why I believe that the rapture is true. My intetion was not to take away from your words. I totally agree with them and think we are experiencing some serious birth pangs, with more to come! I did post the rest of my deleted posts in the forum if any one wants to see why I believe in the rapture.... and they are not something I've heard from TV preachers, etc. It's from reading my Bible a lot and doing a lot of studying. I didn't believe it at first either for a lot of the same reasons of the others until I really started studying it. So, once again sorry for misunderstanding. I read these prophecies a lot. Thank you.

  21. truthteller - Thank you for your kind comments. I felt your earlier posts were very well thought out. It is obvious that you have studied the subject of the rapture and such detailed viewpoints are of great interest to others studying that subject. In the forum they will be read again and again where here they are read less, as new words are posted. That is the other reason the forum is an even better place to share them, and I hope you will share them with others there. Have a blessed Sunday! ~ Glynda

  22. Important to note to all-- Regardless of the position on when (or even if) the rapture happens, it usually is not simply because one has not read bible, as some contend. Rather, we all have read it and are convinced from our own interpretation of it. Not sure why the Holy Spirit allows so many sincere believers to divulge so much here but I know that we all are and do LONG for his appearing, whenever that is. Come, Lord Jesus!

  23. I used to be a pre-tribulationist, then I was a mid-tribulationist, then I was a post-tribulationist.
Now I am a PAN-tribulationist. I believe that whatever happens, it will all pan out. Our understanding of that part of the end is still seen through a glass darkly. It is best to be prepared to go through the tribulation and not have to, than to not be prepared and be disillusioned and disappointed and possibly even turn away from God altogether because we feel we were deceived by Him and we feel it is "unfair" that we have to suffer after all we have "gone through in our lives" of "service" to Him. We in the USA know nothing of suffering for Him. Even the severe "persecution" that we may suffer at the hands of others, even other Christians cannot BEGIN to compare with the suffering even now being experienced in places such as the Sudan, and Ruwanda and Somalia and many others. These unknown, faceless modern day martyrs are suffering in such ways as is not even reported in ANY of the main stream media, or any of their branches. Their blood cries out "how long, oh Lord?" while we go to church and look at our watches if the preacher goes a little over-time and we have to wait 30 minutes in line for a table at our favorite Sunday restaurant.

At any rate, we need to be on our knees asking the Holy Spirit to break everything in us that would resist Him and get really INTIMATE with Him. No matter what happens, if we are in intimate relationship with Him, He will protect us and hide us, and we will recognize His voice instantly when He tells us what to do. I hope for a pretrib rapture, but I know I must be prepared for whatever happens.

  24. Well said Jan the pretrib or end of trib has nothing to do with ones Salvation..
The devil is on a mission in these last days to cause Christians to attack one another concerning this issue, some have already separated them selves from others.. The word does not say if you believe in the end times message thou shall be saved.. It states if you believe on the name of the Lord Jesus thou shall be saved.. That's it!
It's that simple to come to know the Lord.. He knows his own and for one to stand in judgment of others calling them deceived is giving place to the Devil.

Ephesians 4:24-27 And that ye put on the new man on, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Neither give place to the devil.

The main goal for every Christian's life is to walk and be lead by his Holy Spirit.. If we surrender our selves to his will he will open doors that no man can shut, but if we stand in judgment of others those doors will never open for us.. Lets not go beating the ones the Lord sends because when it finally comes to the point that he has to send his Son we are in trouble..
Believe on the Lord and thou shall be SAVED.

1 John 5:11-14 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Can we all agree that we have the Son of God in our lives?

In these last days our Faith will be tested beyond measure at times but we have confidence that when we ask anything according to his will he Hears us and that's a promise we can count on.

Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

  25. well some people think it doesn't matter what you believe as long as we believe in God. Well Christ said to be careful not to be mislead by others, it is very important what is correct. If it is not according to scripture there is no light in them. Seems pretty important to follow scripture. Not a mixed up version of this story and that story to present a slant to conform to an idea. Not right

  26. Does it not say in the word somewhere "let not my word make contention amongst you" ???

  28. Yes your right by being mislead by the Unknown.. The Baptist feel their right, the Pentecostals feel their right, the Methodist feel their right, and the list goes on and on. Each and every one of us feel we're right.. But it's not the righteousness of God when we say we have the authority to say who is deceived and who's not.. God is the only one who knows his own, but we have the habit of picking and choosing who belongs to God and who doesn't.. We're responsible for our own salvation and the Lord challenges us to endure unto the end so that we might be saved..

Romans 10:2-3 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Let the Holy Sprit be the judge, He knows more then we do.

Christians will never agree 100% even Apostle Paul had concerns of that.. He said that it grieved him knowing that men would take control and cause men to follow them.
But he made this one very important statement.

Philippians 1:15-18 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Because apostle Paul knew their was power in the Word Of God.
Yes your right we need to carefully read our Bible and to take on the righteousness of God instead of establishing our own righteousness

I've taken the privilege of giving you my take on Mathew chapter 24. under the forum called Rapture
I didn't read what I have written in a book or follow some mans theology about what it means. The only book that I read concerning Mathew chapter 24 was the Bible.
All I have given you is food for thought and to cause you to think instead of accusing others

  30. [Hi Glynda. Saw this info nugget on the wondrous web. Enjoy.]

PRETRIB RAPTURE – HIDDEN FACTS !

How can the “rapture” be “imminent”? Acts 3:21 says that Jesus “must” stay in heaven (He is now there with the Father) “until the times of restitution of all things” which includes, says Scofield, “the restoration of the theocracy under David’s Son” which obviously can’t begin before or during Antichrist’s reign. Since Jesus must personally participate in the rapture, and since He can’t even leave heaven before the tribulation ends, the rapture therefore cannot take place before the end of the trib! Paul explains the “times and the seasons” (I Thess. 5:1) of the catching up (I Thess. 4:17) as the “day of the Lord” (5:2) which FOLLOWS the posttrib sun/moon darkening (Matt. 24:29; Acts 2:20) WHEN “sudden destruction” (5:3) of the wicked occurs! (If the wicked are destroyed before or during the trib, who would be left alive to serve the Antichrist?) Paul also ties the change-into-immortality “rapture” (I Cor. 15:52) to the posttrib end of “death” (15:54). (Will death be ended before or during the trib? Of course not! And vs. 54 is also tied to Isa. 25:8 which is Israel's posttrib resurrection!) If anyone wonders how long pretrib rapturism has been taught, he or she can Google “Pretrib Rapture Diehards.” Many are unaware that before 1830 all Christians had always viewed I Thess. 4’s “catching up” as an integral part of the final second coming to earth. In 1830 this "rapture" was stretched forward and turned into a separate coming of Christ. To further strengthen their novel view, which the mass of evangelical scholars rejected throughout the 1800s, pretrib teachers in the early 1900s began to stretch forward the “day of the Lord” (what Darby and Scofield never dared to do) and hook it up with their already-stretched-forward “rapture.” Many leading evangelical scholars still weren’t convinced of pretrib, so pretrib teachers then began teaching that the “falling away” of II Thess. 2:3 is really a pretrib rapture (the same as saying that the “rapture” in 2:3 must happen before the “rapture” ["gathering"] in 2:1 can happen – the height of desperation!). Other Google articles throwing light on long-covered-up facts about the 180-year-old pretrib rapture view include “Famous Rapture Watchers,” “X-Raying Margaret,” "Edward Irving is Unnerving," “Thomas Ice (Bloopers),” "Walvoord Melts Ice," “Wily Jeffrey,” “The Rapture Index (Mad Theology),” “America’s Pretrib Rapture Traffickers,” “Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism,” “Scholars Weigh My Research,” “Pretrib Hypocrisy,” "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy," “Deceiving and Being Deceived,” and "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty" – all by the author of the bestselling book “The Rapture Plot” which is available at Armageddon Books online. Just my two cents’ worth.

  31. I must say how grateful I am to Truthteller, for his/her comment about the Rapture not being first taught by Darby. It's been something I've always wondered about and while I do believe in a pre-trib rapture, this assertion by some Christians has bothered me. Bless you!
