Unions Not of Me

I  was listening on the phone to a friend talking about recent changes in her marriage this week, and how she and her husband went from almost filing for divorce to attending church together, and the new love that was blossoming between them as a result, when the Lord showed me something in my spirit. He showed me that He is shaking the marriages where there is a true believer that is yoked with one who believes little or not at all, and He is shaking them hard, so that the one who does not really believe or is in unbelief will either start following Him, or the believer will be set free. Later that night in worship, He spoke this word to me.

Relationships will be tried by fire in this time. What is not of Me shall not survive the test of My refining fire. In what is coming, your unions must be pure.

Many of you will experience loss in this time of refining. Know that I will restore to My people what is rightfully theirs, and cause you to increase more besides.

I am causing unbelievers to choose now. I have come to set My people free in this time from all that keeps them from serving Me with their whole hearts. I will now remove the obstacles and move my people strategically into position for that which is very soon to come. Unions not of Me cannot withstand the storm that is coming.

Do not be surprised when you see longstanding unions crumble overnight, for this is My mighty hand.

I am preparing you, My people. I will care for you in times to come, have no fear, for I am a loving and faithful Father. Many of you shall fear as events planned begin to come to pass, but these things must come that My name might be glorified in all the earth before My son's soon return.

Psalm 127:1:  Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

II Cor. 6:14: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Malachi 3:2-3: But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Joel 2:25: And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Ps. 23:3: He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

  1. This was for me. Thank you.

I have had lots of dreams since January. Then all of sudden they seemed to stop. Then my six year old son comes to me and tells me he had a dream.

He is standing in the middle of our garden looking down at the garden plots angry that nothing is growing. Then the clouds opened up and God spoke to him, "Go inside and tell your mother it is time to leave this house."

House? Are we going to move? Should I be more proactive about changing churches? Our marriage has been limping along since the LORD radically woke me up last year. Is this about my marriage? Am I going to die?

I am sure of nothing but that the Lord is sustaining me one step at a time. One moment I think I am about to lose it all, then an hour later, it changes and I am left wondering what is going on.

I feel this shaking. At the moment things look good and I am committed to staying the course, but with so much spiritual division, and my son's dream, I am still left wondering if there is yet more shaking to come.

  2. To whom it may concern. This has already come to pass in my life, recently, I had to make a choice, to follow the urgings of the Holy spirit, or not, I was quite frankly confused,it called for more prayer and reading of the word, alot of it, I used to go somewhere where it was quiet, nad pray for the Lord to guide me, I had to give him everything in my life, one night when I was to that point of dong so, sitting in my car, holdingon to my steering wheel I asked God to at least once in my life,to let me hear his voice. It wasn't like I thought it was going to be, it was a still small voice, early the next morning. It helps to have a pen and paper handy, just ask himto speak, then clear your mind, write down whatever comes into it, see what happens, keep a journal, it really will astound you, now,and later too. Ask Him for his peace, keep on asking!it will come, don't listen to the doubts, thats the enemy. The Lord always uses his word, thats the difference. I had to pray sometimes many times in the day, just hang in there, you will get the hang of it if you keep at it, pray pray pray. A true friend told me this great advice, Pray, trust, obey. I had some deep painfull moments, but the Lord walked with me thru them all, he keeps his promises, every one of them.

  3. This is an unusual word and one that may not be expected regarding marriages, but it rings so true to my Spirit. Some may think that God would never uproot a marriage since it is a covenant. But how many go into marriage not having any concept of covenant, who are not able to keep covenant with their mate, much less with God. I feel this word speaks so much about spiritual alignment that God is bringing His children and church to. We are moving into the Glory of the church that has been prophesied. Thank you for this incredible word. It's so important that God's people always know what time it is and what God is speaking. We know He doesn't do anything without telling the Prophet. This is a word that will free many, so they can move out of disunity, knowing God has called them to something much greater. Thanks so much, my dear sister, Glynda. Rev Helen Davies/Dallas, TX.

  4. This is the time for change now. It's time for the people to turn to the lord of hosts. For he shall save those who turn to him with a whole heart. Blessed are those who are poor of heart and the needy. Blessed are those who are Humbled before the Lord. God Bless his servants who do his will Amen!

  5. I was anticipating hearing this (unfortunately I got the date wrong and missed it live.) But it is so much better than I expected and very encouraging. I want to do the Lord's will, not mine, my husbands or any mans (and people have many different opinions....all the RIGHT one, in their eyes.) So, last week, I told the Lord.."I am so confused about what is "right" in your sight. I must trust that I am in your will. I will stay, be faithful, pray and serve unless you show me through a sign I must leave. If there is ANY physical violence against myself or the children (even just something thrown...etc), or if adultery is committed, I will know this is from you and you want me to leave." So I have peace that HE is able to answer this prayer. But if I stay, I DO want to be equally yoked. AMEN.

  6. Good Message Glynda" being married to a nonbeliever can be challenging at times.
My first marriage was that way, and one day she looked at me and said" I don't want to be like you, and off she went : ) Seeing her now that was the best thing she could of done for me.. It's sad to say but it's true.. She smokes like a chimney.. Married people need encouragement because of all the obstacles to trip us up

  7. Two weeks ago during prayer time in Sunday School God gave me almost the exact same Words of the last paragraph. However, the difference came in that the Holy Spirit had gone back to speaking about shaking things.I feel He was confirming what He had said earlier to me (and others)but was also telling us He would take care of us as the loving Father He is.Oh MY-IF WE CAN ONLY REALLY SEE HIM AS THE LOVING DADDY-(ABBA)HE IS!

  8. I am so at the end of my rope. This word is also for me. My marriage is on the rocks. Things happening and it makes me so unsure and insecure what to do. Many bible-believing christians told me I had to protect myself from the mess he is making. And there is almost no other way than tell him to stop with certain things, if I do so he will surely leave. *sigh* I pray and pray and wait. I am at my parents house because I am not able anymore to deal with it all. I will keep praying for Gods will.

  9. Dear Glynda,
Not only marriages, but parents/children. We have already let one child go and we are seeing that are second oldest is wavering towards the world. It is the same spirit not wanting to surrender under authority. Very sad.
The LORD told me a year ago, "if the pain never stops, will you deny ME?"
It may get extremely painful out there beyond what you are able to comprehend. Prepare your hearts...
    Peace,
    Deirdre

  10. Deirdre - If the pain never stops, will you deny Me - wow!!! I gotta meditate on that one - maybe tweet it, too!!! Thanks for sharing that with us! In the tribulation, we may face that very question!

  11. We have been watching this same progression with April (my wife) and I personally. When we came to a crossroad, and had to choose the Lord over our eminent needs. If it was just me, great, moving on. Let’s just say it’s best to have kept one another appraised on what the Lord is telling you. We each had things the Lord was laying on our heart, but we were keeping them to ourselves. This caused a “Conflict at the Crossroads”. After hours of “discussion”, we worked it out: but that was some intense discussion! Even the good marriages are going to get tested. How else would you know it was good?

  14. Glynda:

Regarding the strong word that you received from the Lord last week (Unions Not of Me): I believe God is not only referring to marriages -- and the revelation God gave you about them is remarkable enough -- but I think He also means any relationship that is not of Him. The prophecy begins with: "Relationships will be tried in the fire in this time." And in the third paragraph: "I have come to set My people free in this time from all that keeps them from serving Me with their whole hearts." I think that God intends to purify and/or dissolve any friendship or association that is not of Him, not just marriages.
