I Desire Your Love

I was praying and spending time worshiping the Lord when He began to speak this message to me.

Tell My people, child. Not spending time in worship to Me is very serious and grievous in My sight. I desire My people's presence.

I desire your love, My people. I desire you would come into My presence and lavish Me with your love and adoration, for then do our spirits commune as one. Then are you truly acting as My bride.

I desire your presence. I desire to feel your love and hear your words of adoration to Me. I desire you, that is why I created you to worship Me!

Yes, I am Almighty God. I am the great Jehovah God to whom nothing is impossible and you who worship Me in spirit and in truth are truly My people. Those who go about their days to whom I am an afterthought are serving Me with their lips only and their prayers I will not honor.

It is those whose hearts I truly reign in who truly know Me, and who I know. These draw near to Me daily. These are those on whom My glory and fiery power shall fall in days coming. These shall I protect and preserve.

Those of you who ignore Me while you pursue earthly pleasures commit a grave error, for you shall not be able to enter into My presence when tragedy falls around you, though you shall long to.

If you seek Me now, you shall find Me. Those who wait will walk a far more difficult path. You shall long for My presence and not find it. You shall desire to hear My voice and hear it not.

Build your house on the rock, My children. On the rock of My love, My presence, My Son, My Word, and all that I am, and you shall be safe, but you cannot have part of Me - you must take all. Come into My presence and learn of Me.

I desire your love and worship. I am a holy God. You must obey Me in all things if I am to be your God. Come to Me now before it is too late for you

Deut. 4:29: But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Matthew 7:7-8: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Psalm 31:2: Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.

Matthew 7:24: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Isaiah 58:2: Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

  1. Hey Glynda will ad in my 2 cents on this one. As you know, I struggle daily and more so now, but thats another chapter, :-)
    I will tell you of what was revealed to me a short time ago, now I do not know if it was a personal msg to me or if it was shown to me to describe to others, but I do know when I have read about others visits to hell what they meant by the cut of from the Divine.
    I was shown myself, seeking 'something' grieving for that 'something'. OK you know that feeling when you think you have lost your wallet (filled with the last of your money that was for all your payments) and that panic sets in. Add this with that stomach churning grief beyond all words and immagination at hearing of the loss of a loved one (ie:child). This was the sensation that I felt but multiplied by the thousands to the point that I wanted to commit suicide yet kew within me that I would not be allowed to do such a thing. It was a searching filled with the utmost of panic and grief for this 'something' but I didnt know what 'it' was. somewhere deep inside it was shown that 'it' was that God had turned away from me, and that divine link was broken.
    All I can say to everyone that it was so horrible a feeling that words will never convey the depth of the madness that it will place upon you. And the worst part is that there is no turning back, its not like simply missing the bus and waiting for the next connection, there are no more connections.May Father forgive if it was not something that I should have revealed but I so wanted to let others know that it just confirmed when others spoke of the loss of God and I concur, that thousands of eternities tormented in hell seems like a walk in the park, compared to this.
    Lets just say that it ties in with your word while there is still time to dive headfirst into a relationship with God and do what it takes to stay there because the alternative is far worse and I do not wish it upon anyone.

    Blessings............angela

  2. Angela, Thank you so much for posting that - I think it would do us all good to think about that, and you described that feeling far better than any book I've ever read about a trip to hell.

    Hang in there, Sis. We love you!

  3. Amen to that!

    I cling to my salvation message, Ps 40

    I waited patiently for the Lord;
    he turned to me and heard my cry.
    2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
    out of the mud and mire;
    he set my feet on a rock
    and gave me a firm place to stand.
    3 He put a new song in my mouth,
    a hymn of praise to our God.
    Many will see and fear
    and put their trust in the Lord.

    4 Blessed is the man
    who makes the Lord his trust,
    who does not look to the proud,
    to those who turn aside to false gods.[a]
    5 Many, O Lord my God,
    are the wonders you have done.
    The things you planned for us
    no one can recount to you;
    were I to speak and tell of them,
    they would be too many to declare.

    6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
    but my ears you have pierced[b][c];
    burnt offerings and sin offerings
    you did not require.
    7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—
    it is written about me in the scroll.[d]
    8 I desire to do your will, O my God;
    your law is within my heart.”

    9 I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly;
    I do not seal my lips,
    as you know, O Lord.
    10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
    I speak of your faithfulness and salvation.
    I do not conceal your love and your truth
    from the great assembly.

    11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, O Lord;
    may your love and your truth always protect me.
    12 For troubles without number surround me;
    my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.
    They are more than the hairs of my head,
    and my heart fails within me.

    13 Be pleased, O Lord, to save me;
    O Lord, come quickly to help me.
    14 May all who seek to take my life
    be put to shame and confusion;
    may all who desire my ruin
    be turned back in disgrace.
    15 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”
    be appalled at their own shame.
    16 But may all who seek you
    rejoice and be glad in you;
    may those who love your salvation always say,
    “The Lord be exalted!”

  4. Glynda and all:

    I struggle with confusion on how to do even the basics of worshipping our Lord properly, what to do, what to say etc., our pastors really have paid us a disservice for not telling and teaching how to come before the Lord and worship Him. When I read your word today from the Lord, I went to my bible and looked up worship in the index and found Psalms 95 and 96. I then went to Blue Letter Bible.com and brought those two up and looked at the study tools for all of Psalms. I think I found between 95 and 96 and this study tool the tools I need to learn how to truly worship the Lord. Here is the link for the Psalms Study Tool:

    May it bless and teach you how to come before the Lord in true worship, praise and adoration. :D

  6. I'll have to chime in on this one. I struggle BIG time with this whole "worship" thing. When I was younger, I could be completely enraptured in the music. Then the music industry became my job. Now, it holds virtually no joy for me in a "worship" service on Sunday because I'm too busy analyzing everything from how the music is constructed, to how it sounds thru the sound system, to my distrust now of modern day Christian music!

    The times that I am closest to God seem to be when I'm in my room, alone, praying and crying. I can't seem to ever find the same joy and connection with Him that I once did in a group setting anymore. Is this bad? I want to cry more than shout for joy with Him. Is this bad? I talk to Him all day long, often sharing more grief (personal and for the world) than happy thoughts with Him. Is this bad?

    We were all created for worship. We were all created uniquely. The only conclusion I have come to is that each of us is give Him back the worship He created each of us to individually perform. Worship at it's core cannot be cookie-cutter. However, I feel that I've gone so far from what the average church-goer understands as worship that even I wonder if i worship anymore.

    I did a word study on worship in the Greek and the Hebrew. Bottom line, both terms mean to revere or adore. Neither word study seemed to truly help me because the American culture has lost all references to showing reverence. We are a culture of rebellion. So how do you teach reverence and honor and respect and adoration in a culture that holds the shock value so high? (And in my days before Christ, I was BIG into it, may He forgive me.)

    I guess I post all of this to hear other's insights on worship and also to let others know that if you're struggling with this one, you are most certainly not alone. May He continue to draw us all closer. May God bless you all!

  7. I first have to thank you Glynda for always being obedient to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
    I too have struggled with knowing what to do in Worship, but recently I have learned that it is the very act of seeking HIM in every situation like the loss of my husband, and the finances and the struggles that we have everyday. I heard that Worship is much much more ... where we get closer and closer to HIM! It does not matter if we start with five minutes, 10 minutes ... just start... just like the NIKE commercial... JUST DO IT! bE bLESSED,

  8. Hi,
    I'd like to share. The definition of worship is: the reverant love and devotion accorded to a diety.

    Well, what does devotion look like?

    Could the very mundane acts in life be a devotion to Yahwey if we are content in them? For instance, if I am doing the laundry, I can be thankful for the machines and for the clothes and such, which leads to thankfulness for the provision which comes from The Provider.

    I may not be jumping up and down and hooping and hollering, but in my heart I am thankful.

    I am sure true worship is being ready to do whatever HE tells you to do. If HE tells you nothing for one day, than do what HE has given you previously and do it with all your might Ecc. 9:10.

    True worship can also be just resting in HIS hands.

    I can empathize with Patriot, for it seems the LORD has appointed me a sorrowful worshipper. I do sorrow over my own sin, sins of my family and world. Many times I might be in my car and praying for something/someone and be overcome by sadness and repentance and crying out to YESHUA.

    Has YESHUA ever prompted you to pray for someone and it seemed like their life might be on the line? We're you all smiles and happiness at that time? No, but you were obedient to pray for that person. And because you were obedient, you worshipped.

    I do think that Glynda's word is that the FATHER desires more time from us that is yes intimate, alone with HIM, resting in HIS presense, reading through the Word and expressing our love for HIM.

    Is that time being taken away by our favorite show? or some activity at church?

    I often think of a dying persons position about things on earth. Do they really care how clean their hosue is at the moment? Or if everything is going to get accomplished at work? It is the position of your heart. Where is your heart really at? It is VERY easy to get sucked into the world, hey we live here! (-:

    Peace,
    Deirdre

  9. It really seems that a lot of us have issues on how to truly come before the Lord and worship. Glynda, I do know that you have video's on this, but never on what to say before our Lord, what is it He is specifically looking for us to do? Obey Him, worship Him and seek Him do not explain HOW. I have prayed for direction on how to enter the throne room, how to worship properly, how to pray. You have said you pray for couple hours, how does one truly pray and worship for couple hours?? I am lucky to get 1/2 hour of prayers out then I cant think of anything else and then my mind starts wandering and I have to quit because that isn't worship or productive.

    I guess true worship from what I read this morning is down on your knees, singing a song of thanks, praise and adoration with your heart as the melody, the tune.

  10. Deirdre,

    I hope this post follows yours. You are so right on, especially the last paragraph. Remember Jesus words to Martha when she complained that Mary wasn't helping make the meal, "Martha, Martha,...Mary chose the better part and that will not be taken away from her"

  12. ska, I was just thinking after seeing so many comments come through about worship that it might be helpful if I did a Blog Talk show about worship, so I will pray about that. Thanks for the input, guys - it helps me to know what you want to hear about. Some weeks I have no clue what to talk about on the shows!

  13. Deirdre and godsfinger,

    Very well put and thank you, my second comment didnt post, so resent it, just know that I posted it before your 2nd comment was made. I for some reason don't get all worked up or very sorrowful when praying for others, not sure why, I know my heart is in it and I know the condition of the world is in such dire shape and that many people are and will be lost which is enough to make even Yeshua cry out in pain, I cry eventually, but still feel detached from it somehow. I still anguish at really wanting to pray in tongues to the Lord and are unable too, but people say I should be able, I want that personal level like she says, where we want the Lord to know us, not just us knowing Him and feel at a loss on how to achieve this. I feel like my time I try to spend with Him is not enough, but at a loss on what to say or what to do that lasts hours with Him? Yes I know, not to compare ourselves with others, but how else do I learn but from imitating others??? What is it I am missing and apparently so many others? I long to hear His voice and for direction.

    Thank you and bless you all in Yeshua's name.

  14. Glynda,

    Thanks for praying over this, like I said before, pastors have really done us a disservice, they are our teachers and have taught us heresy, now we have to play catch up on many years of missed opportunities. You can read the bible many times and miss out on so much hidden mana, the pastors were supposed to help in this and have failed miserably. Sometimes I wish I was in another country with persecutions, my faith would be more genuine and real knowing I could be killed at any moment because of my faith. I know that time is coming, but if I die before then, I don't want to die missing out on eternity with the Lord because I didn't worship correctly or enough because I didn't understand. I know I fail in so many ways but I am trying with what little I know and are now learning. Sorry about the ramblings, just very frustrated at how confused I really am in all this.

  15. Dear Ska,
    Ok my heart just went out to you! Hey, listen...The Disciples who walked with JESUS and witnessed His miracles first hand, asked 'how are we supposed to pray?' That may seem like a simple question but lets examine that for a minute. 'how in the world does one pray to an omnipotent, omnicious, omnipresent GOD' I mean really? HE knows everything even what you will say before you say it! It can be really intimidating! To the point that maybe one would not want to pray. But JESUS told them how to pray and no matter how repetative it may seem (or unheartfelt) in some church settings, it is the perfect prayer. You can always start with that! (-: Anyone of us can move on from there just making a list of all the things you are thankful for.
    Proverbs 18:16 A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great. I guess I try and remind myself (living in the world and America where we kindof don't get this idea) that JESUS is KING. Kings have authority, should be shown respect (fear), and should be honored. Many times people would present a gift to a king, just so they could have a moment of his time. (buttering up so to speak). But our GOD is also our Father, which makes it possible for us to cry out Abba Father on these occasions where we pray on the hoof and dont have time for a lot of pre-praising.
    When my kids were little, I found it nearly impossible to pray without being interupted. Sometimes I'd just put a towel over my head in the middle of the living room and told them,"Im gonna pray now". Sometimes I'd have a little one climb on my back. GOD knows all about us. Don't let false guilt rule you. HE will guide you in how to pray dear sister.
    I hope that helps?
    Peace,
    Deirdre

  16. Dearest Deirdre and Glynda too!!

    Bless you so much!! When you said the false guilt, I looked twice at it. Words, not just from Glynda but other sites feel like they are talking straight to me, which gives me the guilt, like I am not measuring up and good enough to enter the Kingdom, even with confessing the Lord as my Saviour. I know everyone of us is not good enough, we are as filthy rags, but reading these words is like He is speaking directly to me, like, oops now what did i do wrong, hahaha.

  17. From Jesuslover:

    Dear Glynda,
    Thank you for releasing this word from the Lord. You have shared words from the Lord about this before and I too was hungry to understand just what the Lord desires in worship. You mentioned back in the beginning of the year a sweet servant of the Lord Jacob Tobak who has a very real burden from the Lord to teach us all how to worship. His Ministry is "Worshippers of the living God ministries", @www.wotlgministries.org. You can download a free hour plus CD from his website that is so annointed that you will be transported right into His presence! He has also written some inspired books on worship that we all need to read.

    After going to his website and learning how to worship properly from what the Word of God teaches and not the traditions of men my intimacy with God has soared!
    Jesus said in John 4:23-24 "But the hour cometh , and now is , when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." The word for worship here according to Strong's concordance is "Proskuneo" it means "to kneel or prostrate (lie face down), to do homage or make obeisance, whether in order to express respect or to make supplication."

    We can come into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise(Psalm 100:4) but to enter His Holy Presence in the Holy of Holies we enter by the blood of Jesus and we bow down in reverence.{ Read Revelations chapter 4 and you can get an idea of how worship is done in heaven.}
    It is very pleasing to God that we humble ourselves and bow down to Him and declare how great He is and how much we adore him.

    We are the bride of Christ...How do brides show love and adoration intimately to their husbands? Are we passionately in love with our Savior? He said that He would perfer that we were hot or cold in Revelation 3:15 than lukewarm. He also stated to the Ephesian church in Revelation 2:4 that they had left their first love (Jesus) and that He wanted them to return and do the things that they did at first when they were first in love with Him. Isn't it simply amazing that the God of the universe doesn't just love us ...He is IN LOVE with us!! Jesus is our King who died on a gruesome cross to win our love! What should be our response to that kind of amazing love?! God wants to hear it from our hearts,our lips as well as from our lives.

    "Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God,
    And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today,if you would hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness,“When your fathers tested Me,They tried Me, though they had seen My work.“For forty years I loathed that generation, And said they are a people who err in their heart, And they do not know My ways.“Therefore I swore in My anger,Truly they shall not enter into My rest.” (Psalm 95:6-11)

  19. Praise is honoring God for What He Has Done.

    Worship is honoring God for Who He Is.

    Psalm 29:2 Render unto God the honor due His Name, bow (Strongs H7812) to God in the beauty of holiness.

    Psalm 138:2 I will prostrate(H7812) myself toward Your Holy Sanctuary, and I will acknowledge Your Name, for Your kindness and Your truth: for You have exalted Your promise even beyond Your Name.

    H7812 "shachah" and is defined as "to bow down, to prostrate oneself".

    Worshiping God is the position of the body, and the condition of the heart. Revelation 3: - 5: shows us the pattern of true worship in heaven.

    The above is from NO FLESH STANDS IN THE HOLY OF HOLIES by Jacob Toback. www.wotlgministries.org, and just to confirm a second source is http://www.forministry.com/USTXMSJEWASMAS/TheMeaningofWorship.dsp

    His book is a study on True Worship and if you are seeking to worship God, it is more than worth the read. It totaly changed my worship life.

  20. But do you worship God the father or God the Son?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Glynda,

    A couple things about this word. Notice how the thought of true worship is connected to, or rather contrasted with, lip-service, sin, and not following God with our whole hearts. We find this all throughout the Bible. There is a difference between worship with clean lives and worship with a defiled walk. "Walk in the spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh." God cannot stand a mixture of worship and a sinful walk. Obedience is better than sacrifice. "I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting." (Is. 1:13) He would rather we be hot or cold. "Take away from Me the noise of your songs, for I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments." (Amos 5:23) Let's first walk in holiness according to his Word, then worship him with our lives.

    The second thought concerns the days ahead. During the Tribulation we see how worship from a pure, holy people brings down the strongholds of the enemy.

  22. Hi,
    I do not know who Mr. Tobak is. Never heard of him before now.
    I would like to make a point though. I've had a lot of experience with people who 'promise' that my life will be changed or some other fantastic thing will happen if I will...buy, listen...whatever.
    We must be incredibly CAREFUL, not to fall prey to someone claiming these things. Your relationship with KING YESHUA is communal in some ways but it is also very personal. And because it is personal, HE will tell you how HE wants to be worshiped. That is where you starting listening to HIS voice. Be careful!
    I watched his video on communion. It reminded me a lot of the Roman Catholic Church! To eat and drink the flesh of YESHUA, you must "do" as HE did and lay down your life. If you are born again, the Holy Spirit lives in you, you are sealed and HE is guiding you throughout each day. 'Communion and the Passover meal get intertwined with some teachers. We 'Keep the Feast' of passover. If you own a Bible and a Strongs Concordance, as you are lead by the Holy Spirit, study the Scriptures yourself and be like a berean. If you belong to the LORD HE is not going to let you just flounder all over the place. HE will guide you.
    Peace,
    Deirdre

  25. there's an apple, and there's the tree. smaller tree, less apples. untended tree, less and smaller apples. there's a stream and there's a lake, but the lake isn't the source either. Out of innermost being will flow living water. Out of...flows.. We the lake, the stream flows out, but what fills the lake? the lake is just a catch basin of...
    catch basin..vessel

    adoration comes from love, joy, fruits of the Spirit, comes from being full of the Spirit. Sow to the Spirit, sow what? Word made flesh, word is Spirit and is life. Faith. What role faith? There's memorizing verse, and He will bring to our remembrance all that was said, memorizings fine unless I lean on my memorization over His leading. I lean on..me, for adequacy, for having studied and retained now I know?... Study, retain, but don't lean on own understanding, own self strength. I get in the way might be a short way of putting it lol. I look/focus on the stream(doings, ministry, fruits)and forget the source. I need more love so will concentrate and self will into myself love..but God is love and the source of love. It made me tired to self will love into myself, but used to be it flowed out, but wasn't really what my eyes were on, they were on Him..and love and all flowed out. How to put that that it makes sense...focus on Him, things occur as a result.

    Anyway used to saturate in the Word..then worship flowed. Saturate/soaked in/full of, then...would flow. lake filled up, then stream came, but stream was never the focus, nor lake, but the Lord above. If worships the focus, without being fuller, it's sort of mechanical..water pumped from a lake with lower water levels. It wasn't hard to love the Lord, He didn't make it complicated, I did. Used to be so simple loving the Lord, joyful, adoring, is and can be always.

    And on the way to a full lake that pours out, I also place dams in the stream down below, and dams above in the pathway of the snowmelt. Things I hang onto, past and disappointments and things of self and world. paul said forgetting what lays behind. There's grieving, and a time to end grieving. After a smelting fire the dross is broken away from the gold and thrown away, but I can pick it up and carry it around..put away encumbrances am told. So sin and encumbrances and hanging onto past and..make dams, blocks water. bad.

    Anyway I dunno, maybe some thoughts make sense there.

  26. My marriage of 20 years ended in 2008. I had moved far from the Father, but didn't know it (that was scary.) Like so many American Christians today, I lost what is everything in "self." This is the opposite of what I should have been. To have life, I must loose it. Most do not realize that just the simple universal presence of God is absolutely everything. For a short time I lost that. He hid himself from me. It was so very horrid. I personally believe the Fathers absence in hell will be what makes hell, hell. The separation from the source of all thats good. Around that time a sweet elderly woman came into my workplace. We began to share. She prayed with me. She handed me a book written 300 years ago called "Practicing the Presence of God" by Brother Lawrence. I am so thankful for that sister in Christ. Another book “The Pursuit of God” by A.W. Tozer also helped in my restoration. We are so completely out of touch with what Christianity is about. With a trembling lip I say to my Lord daily. "Don’t stop God, till it's all out" I know longer wish to practice the watered down Christianity that I’ve practiced the majority of my life. I found the posts here today so very refreshing, Thank You :) I’m convinced that a deception is coming to our generation that will deceive the elect, if that were possible.
