Always ready to share the gospel with those who are listening. Bin Laden was over the top, but he did have one thing, America has catered to Satan. We have allowed satanic worship, mediums, and several other evil entities enter our country under the guise of religious freedom. Now we are seeing the fruit of our passiveness. As much as I hate it, I love our God and Father. Forgive us Lord for our many transgressions as a nation. I was telling a friend, the only things that stays judgment is a repentant nation. Click on the page link at the top right. The Live Chat has been added in an effort to keep all discussions in comments restricted to those things that apply directly to the words being posted. Comments containing theological type stuff will no longer be approved - not because I don't like you :-) or because I necessarily disagree but because I have received a large volume of email from readers who find it distracting. I think discussion can be good, and thought provoking,so I have created a place just for that. Your story about your stepdaughter is ...Hi mctread. Your story about your stepdaughter is inspiring and hits home. You are a wonderful light of Christ for your family and friends. I am adding your family to my daily prayer list in hopes things get even better.

My daughter is barely getting along but has paid off her college expenses. I keep hoping and praying she will return to going to services. As you observed, a string of misfortunes seems to follow her despite her being careful. You have inspired me to approach her with a new round of advise to return to more prayer and Sunday worship.

On the other hand I am a little in despair over the years of physical pain you have had. My pains have been temporary and I found if I offered them up to God for the good of others, I seemed to heal quicker and didn't mind it as much. Mind over matter or God's work I can't say with certainly.

Sounds like you have some degree of preparation for the hard times ahead. Living away from a city is certainly a major first step. Good for you guys!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-38342722391285762382011-06-04T08:46:47.341-05:002011-06-04T08:46:47.341-05:00A good example of what can happen when you try to ...A good example of what can happen when you try to put blame on God : My stepdaughter ( at 19 years old ) had an ex-lover that was about to get released from his tour in Iraq. She hadn't heard hardly anything from him in a couple of years and then he suddenly began calling all the time and saying how he missed her and thought maybe they could be an item when he gets out next month and possibly even get married one day. I saw the smoke pouring out and warned her about getting so excited and putting to much faith in his words because of his track record. She refused to believe he was anything but sincere and said he was a man now and not a foolish boy any longer. Her mother and I pleaded with her to move with caution. She didn't. She skipped several days from college and work to lay up and party with this clown after picking him up at the airport. After one week he stopped calling and was chasing every skirt in town. She was devastated. I'll never forget when she said "why is God doing this to me"? I told her she shouldn't say that and her response was "well, it's true". Get this; for over two years she had terrible misfortunes and illnesses and was depressed; dropped out of college with only a year and a half left (now owes over 100 thousand $ in student loans) and wound up working 70 and 80 hour work weeks as a waitress, and was still sleeping on someonelse's couch basically living out of her car. She became rebellious (was always disrepectful) and was always blaming others for everything. I told her mother, "You have set her up for this by always spoiling her, letting her have her way, and not setting her straight with christian principles". I refused to let her mother prop her up financially. I said if there is any way of saving her, she has to accept responsibility for her actions and learn what tough times are like. After two years of talking calm and sensible with her and praying for God to work on her heart and mind, she has finally started coming out of it. I have tried to make her see that the world doesn't revolve around her life or really care if she gets to party all the time or not. I keep reminding her to be kind to people and give back when she gets a little extra. She is finally starting to see how it works and life is getting better. She will turn 22 this Sept. and has just moved into her own apartment and stopped living out of her car. ( she lives about 100 miles away in a bigger city where she went to college). There is hope for anyone, but life can and will be a constant struggle if a person tries to put blame on God. Well, got to go to the hay field. Hope everyone has a blessed day!mctreadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05992911944243658603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-91872069263125604462011-06-04T08:45:11.048-05:002011-06-04T08:45:11.048-05:00Veriseeker, Thanks for the comments. Sometimes ...Veriseeker, Thanks for the comments. Sometimes I get a little bent. Sorry! This feeling comes from being used and abused, falsely criticized and accused and backstabbed from so-called friends and family for most of my(nearly 55 yrs) life. I have forgiven when almost none have asked for forgiveness. Now, when you said "my despair" this got me thinking. I really don't have despair. What I do have is a lot of chronic physical pain and a work load that can seems overbearing; especially now with gardening(canning and preparing for food shortages), making hay with worn out equipment, and the heat, Whew!!! 90's already here in NC mtn.s. Having said all that; I want to say, I learned something many years ago that can make a difference in a person's life, in either direction, about a persons outlook of things. Firstly, and most important, is the fact that I realize my physical pain comes, primarily from decisions I have made in life, accidents, and sometimes things just happen without anyone being at fault. The biggest mistake a person can make is to blame God for things that they think have gone wrong in their life. God doesn't start each day by saying, Who can I zap today. Our Father loves us and wants what is best for us, and that is part of why we have "freewill". If someone starts blaming God, He may just stop giving what protection they already have, and don't accept or appreciate, and just let the whole load of troubles be dumped on them.mctreadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05992911944243658603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-67316415733750306322011-06-03T20:00:33.101-05:002011-06-03T20:00:33.101-05:00Good evening mctread. Discussion, exchange of view...Good evening mctread. Discussion, exchange of views, and debating among Christians has gone on for centuries. The Apostles even would talk for hours and not all agree on some aspects of what the master had said. It has continued for centuries with good and bad fruits.

When it is good, Jesus wants us to continue (now with blogs and computers) to challenge what we believe in and what others do as well. Speaking aloud or writing why we believe a certain way either strengthens our belief-wisdom when it is supported by truth-facts, or it may cause us to re-evaluate, correct, and grow.

In history, when it was bad, it caused schisms in the church and division among Christians.

As has already been discussed here, when outright evil people were not confronted by a united Christian front, they prospered, gained control, and led the nations into increasingly sinful behavior.

For centuries God held such schemers in check, but we are now forcing His hand. Sin and evil have over empowered the principalities and powers. Between the lack of a united front of denominations, and the fact so many Christians have fallen away and now embrace modernism-sin repackaged, we do have to mentally prepare for the possibility of death in the coming 9 years.

I am glad your life has been so fulfilling so far. Your greatest glory and purpose may be yet to come. An event(s) is soon coming that will rock the world and drive huge numbers into the churches.

God will let each of His people know what He plans for them to help with the biggest harvest in human history. But then, we also know that it is not to be sufficient to stop the further Tribulations.

What a spectacular time to be alive! To live and help Christ confront the worst evils, save record numbers of souls, offer up our major suffering for the good of others and God's will, and then from some vantage point, view the ruination of the demons.

Hope this helps remove some of the despair you may have felt. I often feel sad about the inevitable future, but for reasons of concern for loved ones. We can only prepare so much and after this, as you have said, is where the faith-God will be taking over.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-5398645508124993572011-06-03T10:48:12.197-05:002011-06-03T10:48:12.197-05:00Psalm 32: Blessed is he whose transgression is for...Psalm 32: Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven whose sin is covered. 3-1- When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah For this shall every one that godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. Delight thself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. 18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. Well, Good for you. I never said Christians wouldn't die or even be tortured but my comments were for those that are just now accepting the fact that America is now going thru tribulation and it only gets worse as the birth pains get closer together. Who am I to give advice to someone with twenty years of experience in prophecy. I have dealt with people like you before. In fact, just recently a person had to shut his end times website down because after three years of always having to prove himself right and trying to put words into peoples comments, he had ran everyone off. I think a christian should show some restraint and compassion for others that don't always have the answers. Since you put fear of death into my bit about having faith, I can honestly say, and my Father knows this, that I welcome death. I live in constant pain, to varying degrees, but I won't take anything stronger than ibuprofen. I've seen and done more than most people even dream about. I am not a rich man in dollars, but blessings from my Creator are countless, and are worth more to me than all the gold I can haul in my old F-350. I am ready when God calls my number and welcome the death of this old worn out flesh body with open arms. May God bless and protect the little children that come into harms way during these perilous times.mctreadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05992911944243658603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-33153273162504516862011-06-02T16:57:39.789-05:002011-06-02T16:57:39.789-05:00Veriseeker - Very well put - I agree. Revelations is full of examples of deaths of saints and Christian martyrs for the time of sorrows and Tribulation. Anyone who thinks that the 2/3 who are going to perish are all or primarily non-Christians is living in a fantasy.

Dying is not so bad anyway for most of us Christians who have lived prosperous, fulfilling, happy, and productive lives.

In real life, it is VERY rare that Jesus prevents the death of Christians in times of war-natural disasters-calamities. If you read the international papers you'd see that Muslims are killing us daily in MANY places.

A martyrs death is one of great glory in heaven. We fight evil while we are here, help Jesus save a couple souls, bring goodness to those around us, confess and forgive, and should look forward to eternal life in our real home.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-67102347738404286022011-06-02T02:48:14.994-05:002011-06-02T02:48:14.994-05:00How strong is your faith in God? If you have just enough true and unfaltering faith as that of the size of a mustard aeed, the smallest of seeds, you can move mountains with God's help. Matt. 17:20 = And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Now ponder this, When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into a firey furnace that was seven times hotter than needed to be; and should have consumed them immediately; what happened to them? In Daniel Chapter 3, when the king looked into the furnace he was astonished because he saw Jesus there with them, and when they came out of the furnace not one hair of their head was singed. So you see, my true christian friends, Jesus will walk us thru these times of tribulation and he has given us power over Satan and all his angels. Don't worry; we must go thru theses times, but our redemption draweth nigh.mctreadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05992911944243658603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-48822331572974616922011-06-01T18:51:31.714-05:002011-06-01T18:51:31.714-05:00Chief, you do not have to leave to get through Tri...Chief, you do not have to leave to get through Tribulation. From a literal city to a world system. I know God has called us to separate ourselves unto Him from the world. It says in the NIV Rev 18:4 "...Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues." If you do not separate yourself, you will be sharing in the sins, correct? Thereby receiving the plagues. I kinda liken that to having sex outside marriage, then picking up an STD. I know its more serious than that, though. If we don't separate ourselves from the ways of the world, we will be destroyed under the same judgment. God is no respecter of persons Rom 2. He will not be mocked Gal 6: 7-10. The verses I mentioned in my earlier comment reflect this stuff as well.

If it's a literal city, and we have to flee like Lot did, then so be it. But no matter what, we are to be separating ourselves from the worldly ways. It's the process of sanctification we are to be going through each and everyday. Be holy as you are holy. Be righteous as you are righteous. Lets be what God has given us. And work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

Just a quick summary of Paul's ministry from Acts 20:21 " I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus."

Amen!Brisrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05916874964089430234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-52501001568410139822011-05-29T20:55:36.701-05:002011-05-29T20:55:36.701-05:00Brisr, Hi

Gal 5, Eph 4:17-5:21, Col 3, etc.

Who have we yoked ourselves to? Read 1Cor 7:12-16, 39 about marriage. What about the friends we hang with? Are they believers? 2Tim 2:22 And if not, are we maintaining that relationship for the purpose of bringing them to Christ? 1Cor 9:19-23

How about the organizations we, or even our churches affiliate with? Are they Christian or pagan?

What about the stuff we ingest into our minds from media sources for our entertainment (TV, movies, music, internet, reading materials)? Phil 4:8-9

I'm just scratching the surface on all the different stuff we find ourselves in, and need to get rid of. Prayerfully read the Scriptures and ask our Lord to show you where you need to repent. You might be surprised what He shows you. 1Cor 11:31-32Brisrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05916874964089430234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-51531894441151924752011-05-29T13:42:31.395-05:002011-05-29T13:42:31.395-05:00DeuxBuckChuck - Yeah, I would prefer it if we coul...DeuxBuckChuck - Yeah, I would prefer it if we could all focus on the words the Lord is giving and not argue about doctrine. After all, this isn't a teaching forum, it's a prophetic forum.Just Praise Himhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05656377662821776009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-48859378819469332322011-05-29T12:59:57.215-05:002011-05-29T12:59:57.215-05:00I'd bet a dollar to a matza ball that the peop...I'd bet a dollar to a matza ball that the people who BELIEVED in Jesus words, as HE was speaking them, sat around and squabbled about scriptural details.
Just from reviewing my own personal walk, which has been more like a stumbling bumbling stroll, its painfully obvious to me that We believers can't agree on much of anything beyond the very basest of principles. Inject ONE periphery issue, and its like your average talking head political show on tv. 6 views and all of them indefensibly right, or wrong, depending on which chair you're sitting in.
This comment is aimed at me as much or moreso than it is at anyone else.

Sorry about all this glynda. This is the last thing we need to be focusing on with the times and the prophecies being what they are.DeuxBuckChuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01751217552835346542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6671698633085188281.post-69555032968831828862011-05-29T11:53:48.824-05:002011-05-29T11:53:48.824-05:00Glynda

Look at his statement.

"What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? "

Since every synagogue on the face of the earth teaches that Jesus was not the messiah, what does a Christian have in common with a practicing jew?

I am only trying to point out that the modern love church's theology is based on only a portion of the bible. This type of theology cannot hold up to close scrutiny and the evidence is actually playing out here on this thread.

I myself go to a modern love church and have said the people are wonderful and caring, but that does not change the truth that they are opening themselves to a danger with their belief in Love before understanding.

Lacie, any of your thoughts on this subject are appreciated. Please share with us.

Brisr, thank you for your very deep insight on this subject.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08479460105453204463noreply@blogger.com
