Why Is Your Faith So Small?

I was praying about the coming judgments and about whether I needed to do anything more to prepare for them when the Lord began to speak this word to me.

Them that know Me shall not lack even in the midst of complete disaster. I shall provide for you all miraculously. You and many of My children underestimate the lengths I will go to to take care of you during this time. You all feel you must provide for yourselves.

How far would you go to feed one of your children and provide shelter for them and take care of their needs? Do you really think I would do less?

Did I not provide My only begotten son to provide a way to heaven for you? Why is your faith so small after all the miracles you have seen Me perform?

Psalm 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  2. Thank you God the Father and Glynda for the new word.

I dont see it as trying to provide for ourselves for storing up food, as much as it will be used to help others should they need it.

I do and will rely on Father for it, like the fish and loaves of bread, thats the way I see it happening, or the raven, or the manna. But having stored food will help others around us, and witness to them as well.

  3. May God continue to Bless you Most Richly Ms. Glynda for being His instrument. May our Heavenly Father continue to strengthen our weak faith and grant us the graces of more of His Love and give us Strong Faith. In my own life, even when i walked in the wilderness for many years, He was Faithful to guard and watch out for me even when i was not faithful. Our Heavenly Father is the BEST FATHER! So deserving of all our Trust and Praise. Let us draw closer to Him and all our sisters and brothers in His Holy Love.
Much Love and Peace, Bro Pete

  4. We have to deny our selves and take up our cross to follow him. It's more then saying we believe, it's a commitment and a desire to have an intimate relationship with the giver of life no matter what others may think of the way we live our lives...
Verse 33 of Mathew chapter 6 Say's," But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
It's getting all that stuff out of our lives that is not pleasing to the Father, and when we do that we see the scriptures start to be fulfilled in our lives because we are now seeking the Lord first, and have made it our goal to put on the cloak of Righteousness to have right standing with God the Father.

Psalms 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be Fed.

Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

This scripture verse at times seems so far away from us but when we yield our wills over to him we now have a better understanding of what Jesus had to say so long ago.

Mathew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

In these last days we have to be focused on God the Father and his Son..

Deuteronomy 4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

Proverbs 23:15 My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.
:16 Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things.

We have a to develop a life style of letting his praise continually be in our mouths at all times... Surely the Lord is well worth it,, but it seems that our life styles from work and so on finds a way to rob us of his praise.. Remember all things are possible with God when we seek him first and his righteousness, then we will find those hidden treasures of acknowledging him in all our ways...

Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall CONTINUALLY be in my mouth.
:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

  5. HI! I am seeking God about what I can do to prepare for whatever is coming.I am not really sensing any thing,of course the main thing as you have been saying along is storing Gods word in our hearts and making sure we are close to God!Should we store up food? I am reading alot about marshal law and about the femacamps that they plan to take us to.It al really leaves me wondering what is going to happen first, the earthquakes missle attack, swineflu, you get the picture! I know that I have to get more in the habit of getting still and hearing Gods voice.I really have a desire to start maybe writing some newsletters, like you say,Glynda so many people are not hearing, they don't have a clue what is going on.I want to share with you a dream that I had not to long ago.I is one of many That I have had.I can remember all of them still so very clearly. Most of them had a tornado in the dream.I was in a downtown city, the sky was very dark,I sensed that there was a tornado coming. Many people including myself were walking into this very tall, marble, granite building. The next part of my dream ,we were all in a room there were these big glass windows. Everyone was lying down on the floor in front of the windows. I walked towords the windows and looked out,I could see the tornado,it was heading right in front of the building.I thougt it is going to come right past the windows and suck everyone out.I allready sensed that the people lying on the floor right in front of the windows felt safe! After looking out the windows I noticed a closet towords the back of the room,I thought that if I went back there and got into the closet that I would be ok. The last part of that dream was very sad. I came out of the closet safe, but everyone that was in that room, including my mom died.I was crying alot because she died.I never in that dream felt afraid about what was going to happen. The Lord inpressed on me that there is indeed safety in him! In our prayer closet he meets us and prepares for any and all things!Praise the Lord!In closing thank you again so much for allowing the Lord to use you in such a mighty way.

  6. You know Glynda some of the things that I share on here I shut them up inside me all those years, and now I feel that I have to bring it all out of me again, and I mean no boasting by it, and like you I desire for others to grow in the Lord and the power of his might..
So to all who reads this I'm just a common person just like you with my own set of faults, but thanks to Glynda here I've learned to over come those faults instead of letting them over come me.. The Lord only wants the best for us all, he has no favorites, He loves us all just the same..
The Lord is dealing with all of us and I don't care how you believe in the end times, He is preparing his bride to meet his son so we all should have the same goal in life of pleasing the Father.. You can't go wrong in pleasing the father

  7. Glynda - I have been storing up for some tiime now. About a week before this message came I asked the Lord if I needed to do more. I did not "hear" anyhting, but I "felt" that He was telling me He would take care of me and mine. I settled it in my heart that I would buy nothing more (other than a few incidentals), but that I was through buyng for an unknown calamity. And then came this wonderful and encouraging message came. I put all my faith, hope and trust in the Lord, my Savior!

  10. You know, I am compelled to work knowing time for what I am doing presently has a limit. The Lord showed me that when I was very young, one of my grandmothers was called to the work of seeing to my being in church and baptised. Another grandmother was given the task of helping to prepare me for being able to manage with little. Both were about 3 1/2 years in the window of time available to them as everything would be altered after that period of time. So from the age of 2 1/2 years to 7 years there was light in which to work.
If I could urge everyone, be mindful as to the light given as it may be altered.

  11. When I was reading some news about the Occupy Wall Street movement today I felt led to come and post a few things here. Interestingly enough, what I have to post appears to be pointed at some of the comments that have already been made. I hope what I have to share is found to be helpful.

First, I would like to ask the people reading this to read Dave Wilkerson's (recently deceased) blog entries from Feb. 27, 2009 to March 13, 2009, which can be found at: http://davidwilkersontoday.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2009-04-09T03%3A00%3A00-04%3A00&max-results=31.

I also wanted to share some scripture verses and messages that the Lord has shared with me recently for encouragement.

Psalm 56:11 - In God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Psalm 59:16 - But I will sing of your strength,
    in the morning I will sing of your love;
    for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble.

Daniel 3:17-18 - (paraphrased) My God is able to deliver me from any trap, but even if He does not, I will do nothing to dishonor him.

STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD. (Exodus 14:13-14).

May God Bless everyone here. God Bless you Glynda for sharing your faith and your message.

  12. Because, you don't know the secret of the true faith in God.

True faith comes from the Spiritual Knowledge.
