My People Are Not Ready

My people are not ready for what is coming to this country. They have been lax in seeking Me, in seeking to know My Word. Many go through each day, barely allowing Me even to enter their thought life.

My people, you must seek Me now while there is yet time. Those of you who do not are in grave danger, for the enemy has you in his sights.

All My people are targeted by him, but when you seek Me each day, his plans are foiled. Those of you who refuse to seek Me in these last hours before judgment will be easy prey for him.

I have warned you time and again of his plans against you to destroy you, but you refuse still to listen and obey My voice. If you do not heed My warnings, you shall indeed be taken in your folly.

(When the Lord spoke this last sentence, I could hear the great sadness in His voice for those souls who will refuse to heed His warnings that will be lost as a result)

Isaiah 55:6-7: Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

1 Peter 5:8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Prov. 5:22-23: His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.  He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Deut. 4:29: But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Prov. 8:17: I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Matt. 7:7-8: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

  1. in recent messages was, the enemy desires to sift like wheat, and always the clear instruction to be in the Word daily, Word holds the key and more. Was considering paul saying-when I'm weak then I'm strong, which goes with the verse, if you were blind you would have no sin but now you say "we see", your sin remains. People stay aloof thinking their strong, can see? when weak and blind, the reaction is to run to Him who can make strong and has all strength and can make see, realizing apart from Him nothing good dwells within us we run to and abide in Him daily for everything and love and joy of Christ. Abide in Christ and His word abiding in us, receive with meekness the word engrafted/implanted which is able to save our souls, the Word is Spirit and is life, made flesh in Christ, many verses. How to have Him and word engrafted when staying aloof from the word and Him? A great verse, 2 cor 11:3. simplicity(and purity of devotion to) Christ. It's simple, but does require self discipline. mortify our flesh, keep under or buffet our body and make it our slave. started the race well finish the race well. those who endure until the end. I don't believe in "losing" salvation(losing means had wanted to keep something/valued it) I do think people can walk away. Values. And what gifts are we given? Christ, salvation, faith, the Holy Spirit, love and so many more.

everyday when I hear my flesh say, do this thing or watch this show, it's fairly ok and is "entertaining" I have a choice to make. All things are lawful, but not all edifies. entertainment, active sports, tv, tech, old cars, whatever, is also dissipation/drying up/dessication when our time is way overspent there. we spend time with what we love...love the Lord God with..everything! delight in Him! cherish. No true life in temporal things, no increasing in Him, no building strength in Him, no furtherance in the Spirit, and too much time spent with "things" it pulls us away from Him to the opposite and idolatry, and other sins and weakness. the people sat down to eat and drink and stood up to play, lovers of pleasure more then lovers of God, many verses. Thinking to find some pleasure/peace/joy we can dry ourselves up and way worse, fall away. And as if..being near to the Lord doesn't bring amazing joy/peace/pleasure and love, gladness and all goodness? He is the everything, richness of all joy and love, we are truly rich in Christ, draw to Him always.

  2. This is very sad Glynda. Many people are not going to be ready when the evil one will strike. Many are just liveing as though nothing is going to happen. Iv'e ben telling and warning of the danger's that is comeing. But they ignore it. Facebook is full of wicked people or just doing folly on there. I post News event's to warn. But they don't listen. So i give up on trying to warn them. I know that there have ben report's of russian Nuke Sub's lurking off shore. I know they are going to plan an Sneek attack on us. But when only the Lord know's. If only they would turn from there sin's then they will be protected by the Lord. May the Lord of host Bless his children that are getting ready to meet the Lord. We must keep on pressing forward to seek the Lord while he is near. God Bless you Glynda.

  3. Theron,

You said: "I know they are going to plan an Sneek attack on us. But when only the Lord know's."

The heart of this word is that God's people are not ready. Despite repeated warnings, they still refuse to come clean. They are a prey for the enemy because they aren't abiding in God's Word.

Will it do them any good to know when that Day will arrive? No, not unless they bring their will into agreement with knowledge. If we don't think we need to change then knowledge doesn't help. He gives us power over sin but many don't believe they need to live holy. This is the great lie of our generation: You are fine as you are because we are saved by grace...no need to change. Life continues on uninterrupted for a people laden with iniquity.

You are correct that only the Lord knows the timing. He knows the timing and he also put the timing into his Word for us to discover. This is why Paul said, "But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief." (1 Thes. 5:4) Why are we not to be in darkness? The Word is a lamp to our feet. (Ps. 119:105)

The Day and Hour EVERYONE Should Know

  4. Hi Theron. Be encouraged in continuing to reach out with grace and with the Word to any as led. Most appear not to listen, and don't, but God quickens to the ears, His word goes forth and doesn't return to Him void but completes the purposes for which it sent. throw the seed out abundantly and in the joy of knowing the Lord Jesus. We can continue and increase in love, and joy, despite iniquity abounding, love can remain abundant and growing.

  5. I was reading Jeremiah 37-38 this morning. The Lord to remind me how His OWN people treated the messengers He sent to warn them about what was coming.
It is unfolding the same today as it did then.

    “Because I called and you refused,I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention;
    And you neglected all my counselAnd did not want my reproof;
I will also laugh at your calamity;I will mock when your dread comes,
When your dread comes like a storm And your calamity comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
“Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently but they will not find me,
Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the Lord.
    Proverbs 1:24

  6. Marcel,

Few people, I think, realize that the entire prophetic body of text speaks of our day. In every chapter we are being shown the types of things to occur in our day. This is how I began chapters 37 and 38 of my study of Jeremiah. The book will be available later this month:

    Jeremiah 37
After giving us a glimpse of three different types of people, Jeremiah now revisits the first type. In chapter 34 we saw how Zedekiah represents those of God’s people who feign obedience. They make a weak attempt but they really don’t see the need to keep God’s commandments. After all, they are saved by grace, so really, in their mind, no one really cares. They can just go about their lives however they want. They believe in Jesus, and they figure that’s all that matters. But now we begin to see them from a different view. During a time of peace and safety they seek out God’s prophet. But at the same time they persecute him.

    Jeremiah 38
God does not give us these historical accounts for us to gloss over them. We benefit by studying his Word. Those who are grounded in his Word will not be moved. He specifically put these stories here to teach us lessons. The primary lesson is this: Don’t be like Zedekiah! He is not pleasing to God! In each of the historical accounts we are being shown truth and error from a different angle. Each account highlights the wisdom of truth or the foolishness of falsity. The people discussed in these chapters represent types of people today. Which type are you? Are you an obedient Rechabite or a double-minded Zedekiah?

  7. Drew,
So true, all the players are here as they were there.
The princes, the King and the people were proud of their religion and country and could not believe that God would send a foreign army against them to actually defeat them.
The patriotic and the proud saw this Prophet messenger Jeremiah as not conforming to the deceiving spirit of the day and accused him of being a traitor.
Those who listen to God never fit in,do they.

Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
    Proverbs 16:18

This same pride is an out of control plague in the latest soon to be destroyed land where God's latest foolish people dwell.

  8. From my friend Bonnie:

Glynda, in my last blog post I wrote these words I received from the Lord: "There are many who desire to know Me but who have not yet made Me their Lord and Saviour. Keep praying for these children of Mine to be drawn to Me before time runs out."

It is so important for us to keep praying for those who have not yet received Christ but who are seeking Him in their hearts. Time is running out!

    Blessings,

    Bonnie

  9. I wanted to share that I had an unusual dream this afternoon. I had asked the LORD to clarify more to me.

In the dream I see a video of my nephew on facebook. He is playing in a band in a high school. They are playing Light My Fire, by the Doors. What I found interesting is that they sounded better than the original band. FATHER told me, "This generation is 'fine tuned' because of all the generations past that 'practiced' sin over and over again. This is why I must light MY fire."

I know sounds weird, but FATHER has been speaking to me a lot about fire(s)...

    YAHWEY be with us all.

  10. If you are not ready, if you aren't listening, if you aren't preparing yourselves you will be deceived. God's judgments on America are set. The coming election isn't a vote on who will sit as president, they are both equal in where they a destined to go. What you will be voting or not voting is God's will, voting how close your heart is to God's.

Earnestly seek God's heart and see if your's is measuring up.
