Not Far Off

Bear with Me in the world a little longer, My precious children. The end is not far off and those of you who watch and wait for My Son’s soon return shall not be disappointed.

Many shall mourn as they realize the end is here and they have not prepared their souls, as they have not believed. But you, My children, have much joy and celebration awaiting you! Your days of sorrow and struggle on the earth shall be over as you step into the Kingdom of Heaven where you shall spend eternity with Me.

I know many of your times on earth have been filled with pain and hardship and though each one had its purpose in your lives, you shall be greatly rewarded for your patient endurance.

Be patient and do good each day while you await the end. In the world is much darkness.
Overcome the darkness by allowing My light and love to flow through you to others, that they may also know Me. In this way, you will be witnessing of Me at all times and helping Me to increase in the earth.

Show them what I am like, My children. Walk in My ways. Imitate Me, that others may see My light.

1 Peter 4:7-8: But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Luke 21:27-28: 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Galatians 6:9-10: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Romans 12:21: Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 Peter 1:16: Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

  3. I say the same. That's where we are, hanging on, showing those around us as much Christ-like qualities as we can muster, with the aid of the Holy Spirit, who strengthens us.

I hope God means "soon" in our sense of the word.
We know his thoughts are not our thoughts, his ways are not ours. We do not know what his "soon" is. We just pray and hang on.

  4. Glynda, any times in your Christian walk did you ever struggle with guilt? Or trouble knowing without a shadow of a doubt that you His? Or that you will go with Him when He comes? Sometimes I get this guilty feeling like I'm not doing enough to be accepted into Heaven. I suppose that's just a trick of the enemy. All I need to do is call upon His name and He will be right there. My family's struggling right now and I'm the major believer. Pray I'll have the strength to withstand. Everyone's worlds been crumbling and they are all acting like they're losing it. I feel like all I tell them is not getting through. It's a lot of pressure. I need some words of encouragement.

  5. Let us not consider the events of tomorrow, but rather focus on living our lives in accordance to the way Christ would have us live. That is to say, living each day as if Christ Jesus could take us home at any minute. For we know not the day nor the hour in which by Father God's own authority He has established the time in which we are to come home. May the Lord grant us the strength and faith to do the works that each one of us are called to do. That having kept the faith, the world may see the love of Christ through each one of His Children.

    Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

    1 Samuel 2:9-10
He will guard the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silent in darkness.
“For by strength no man shall prevail. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken in pieces; From heaven He will thunder against them. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to His king, And exalt the horn of His anointed.”

    1 Corinthians 6:14
And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.

    1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

    1 Thessalonians 5:8-10
But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

  6. Amen! Praise King Yahshua! He is coming very soon and will He find faith?
Will He find His true church full of faith, trusting Him for and in all things?
Hebrews 12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Let's get untangled from this world!

  7. Dear Jessica,
There is nothing you can do to earn your way into heaven.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

There is false guilt and real guilt. Please ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you which you are having and repent of any sin you have.
    Peace,
    Deirdre

    1. Thank you John and Deirdre. I suppose I was just wondering if anyone else struggles with this same type of thing. I know the guilt I'm feeling is from my childhood. It comes to attack me a lot of times. I thank The Lord He's taking me ever higher everyday. I'm not the same today than I was yesterday and that's all I need to know! God bless and keep you all

  8. I am going through really hard times, I made a decision (I thought it was God's will) which has created much sadness and takes away from my time with the Lord. I could use prayer. Thank you.

  9. Since this post is about Christ's return being 'Not Far Off', I thought the reader's here might find this article both relevant and interesting:

  11. I never want to say I know everything because I know cold to nothing and the more I grow spiritually the more I feel as though I know nothing and am becoming happier with that...however, I can say from personal experience that God has actually allowed an atmosphere of chaos around me at jobs and circumstances I could not control several times to "throw me up" (ie, like Jonah and the whale) out of those jobs because every time I would get laid off or something uncontrollable would happen while I was there. Furthermore throughout the whole time of my employment it would be extremely miserable like something was after me and didn't want me there. Several years ago someone prophesied that God was going to create an atmosphere of peace around me and that I would have no more sleepless nights. This "peace" was confirmed first by people who said that they could feel it and the dog liked to come sit near me for comfort (he used to hate me). Now I feel it on the inside. I am now on the path that God has led me on and not my own and see His mighty hand leading me. I think a lot of my guilt comes from seeing a lot of women running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to "do" something about their situation sometimes. Now...I'm not saying that we shouldn't take steps towards change everyday...however, if you're feeling like a blood vessel is about to pop in your brain something is wrong and you most likely need to step back and spend time with God.
