Exaltation

My people desire greatness and prosperity. They desire to rule over others and to be exalted in the earth. They desire to be held in very high esteem by those around them.

Yet My people have not obeyed My Word in these things. He who desires to be great must become servant of all. He who desires exaltation must walk in humility; and not only outwardly, but true humility of the heart. Willing, no matter what I should require of him.

My people desire much, but you are willing to give so little, and so you have not attained.

1 John 2:16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Matthew 20:26-28
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Proverbs 22:4  By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.

Proverbs 15:33  The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

  1. Please pray for me, that I may walk in true humility from the heart, and help me to give what He requires of me.

  2. Thank you Glynda for these important messages. I was wondering if you could she'd some light since you are very versed with the wilderness... a few weeks ago as I was waking up, I heard the Lord say "Hall of Leaves".... I have prayed and prayed on it and still don't understand. My question to you is do you think Hall of Leaves is the Lords way of saying wilderness? From your experience, would He use that term to mean wilderness? Thanks and God bless!

    1. When reading your comment, I saw a hall full of dried leaves. Leaves are not inside a hall naturally. The leaves may be representing a group of christians gathered together in a church, for example, dead and dried. This is what I saw when I read the comment. A large hall full of brown dried leaves abandoned on the ground. Leaves were alive once when they were on the branch but if they die they fall off.

  3. TeeDePinto - That does not to me sound like anything to do with the wilderness. I have never heard of a Hall of Leaves. not sure what that would relate to, Sis.

  4. TeeDePinto - What I hear is "haul of leaves." As spoken of in Jude 1. Those predestined to be fruitless and withered trees, twice dead, as in the shedding of leaves in the fall. (If you live in a seasonal climate, you know what a pain raking is) These are those that are cut down to be burned in the final harvest...the weeds, tares, while the wheat is gathered into the barn. And yes, we are all in the wilderness, but we can separate ourselves from it through the word and the Spirit.

  5. I want to comment to TeeDePinto: Those leaves were in a recent dream of mine...and so I studied it and God was revealing strategies to me to defeat in Jesus Name the strongholds in my life. My foot was on the leaves. There were other dream symbols as well in my dream pointing to iniquities. Isaiah 64: 6 "...and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." So in symbol; leafs speak to iniquities. Leafs can also speak to covering: Gen 3:7, and self-justification: Matthew 21:19. There are healing leafs, too: Rev 22:2. It helps to concordance and find words as symbols. In this same dream there was a hallway. Hall can speak to pathway. So hall of leaves could mean there is pathway to iniquities, or healing, or covering, etc. For me, the leafs meant iniquities. I fasted and prayed. I can testify that once I did this for myself and the one I was interceding for there was such change and breakthrough. It's a good thing no matter what the leafs represent. God is giving revelation to bring about peace and an end to struggle.
