How To Cancel Demonic Assignments

I have received many emails asking how to cancel demonic assignments. Assignments can be against you, your health, your finances, your marriage or other relationships, your calling, your ministry. You cancel them all the same way.

Here is the wording I use when I cancel demonic assignments. Speak it OUT LOUD and with AUTHORITY – you have every RIGHT to stop his attacks, as a Child of the Most High God through your belief in Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross!

Satan, I cancel every attack you have assigned against (insert what is being attacked here – your body, your calling, your ministry – whatever, but do them ONE at a time – say the whole thing for each one) in Jesus mighty Name! I command this attack to fall to the ground and become dust under my feet in Jesus Name. I command every demon who has been assigned under these attacks against me to go immediately into the Abyss, and take your filth and your seeds with you, in Jesus Name!!

Jesus died to destroy the works of the devil, and He left us the weapons to defeat him. We don’t have to lay down and just take these attacks!

1 John 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Corinthians 10:4  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

James 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Psalm 44:5  Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.

Psalm 18:39  For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

Ephesians 6:11-17

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

  1. I wanted to throw repentance into the mix as well. If we refuse to repent, then we are asking for trouble aka 'delivered to tormentors'.

    Unforgiveness is a big problem. I have seen people healed instantly when they finally forgave. If we explain the parable of on forgiveness the Lord lights is up for them and they begin to realize the importance of repentance and forgiveness.

    Matthew 18:34-35 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. (35) So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

    Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: (15) But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

    Hebrews 12:5-7 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: (6) For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. (7) If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

    Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

    Revelation 2:21-22 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. (22) Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

  6. Wow! This is so fitting for us today! My husband and I are a part of healing rooms and we have been praying for a couple who have received major breakthrough. Since last week we have been messed with. Work issues, daughter possibly sick, major flat tire. Weird random stuff. I can't wait to take authority, and declare my triumph in Jesus! Thank you for all you do Mrs. Linkous!!

  8. These didn't work for me in this instance. I believe that my affliction my have been a chastisement from the Lord.
    Here is a link to an excellent article written by Derek Prince on the breastplate and the shield of the amour of God for future protection: http://www.derekprince.org/Articles/1000116833/DPM_US/Resources/Full_Teaching_Letters/Defense_Against_Discouragement.aspx

  9. 3 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
    4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds,
    5 casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."

    The enemy uses ourselves against ourselves. We have to cast down out own wandering thoughts (day dreaming ect...) And make God our thoughts. This is how the enemy is able to penetrate. By YOU not putting God first and instead filling the #1 spot in your heart with the world wheather sin or non sin.

  10. That's great! BUT, I have learned from being called to warfare intercession that one prayer is not sufficient. You have to bombard the assignment night and day, until God reveals that it's been destroyed. Your words are like missiles released against a strong wall, that's hitting the same spot each day. With continued power, the wall will fall. This is critical and what has given me huge success. It's warfare and it requires staying with it until it's done. I learned this from African Pastor's, who are some of the greatest warriors in the kingdom. They have to be since their countries have been steeped in witchcraft and satanism. Every time you think of the assignment, curse it aloud in Jesus name and aggressively. You can't take things from the enemy without pounding him. God has given us His authority to use and the enemy understands when we are walking in authority. Use it with force and stay with it and his assignment will always fall. But remember that he is a retaliator by nature. When the assignment is destroyed, keep yourself and your household covered with much greater prayer for protection. God bless! Rev H Davies/DallasTx

  11. H Davies, You are so correct!I've noticed an increase in intensity by the enemy but that just means I have to double my efforts to stay ahead of the evil one.Remember the devil never sleeps and its a constant battle that were all in.Not to worry though because Jesus already destroyed the evil one when He shed His precious blood for all of us.Pray,Pray and Pray some more!Make our Lord proud that we are fighting for His Kingdom and for His glory.Also, eveyone needs to pray for Glynda and all the wonderful work she does for us,the good guys.Jesus is coming soon and we need to be prepared for that GLORIOS DAY that's so close!God Bless eveyone.

  15. I need prayer for my wife Jennie. I have been seeking the Lord to cleanse all works of darkness against my calling. The closer I walk with Jesus the more I'm discerning a Jezebel spirit is gained access and developed a feel stronghold. Most likely since she was a little girl. It has attacked me many times. I am walking in victory so I can clearly see the confusion in her mind. When I have tried to lovingly talk about repentance she becomes extremely aggressive and then plays a victim when I press the need for repentance and then attacks my previous sins throughout our marriage. I have prayed the blood of Jesus and have been praying for my house and children. However this spirit seems to be relentless.Not sure why it remains. Starting fasting today. Please pray.
    In Christ, Jason
