Streams in the Desert

I will provide for you streams in the desert.

Whenever you are thirsty, call out My Name. When you are in the dry places, or lost in darkness, call out My Name. I hear and answer My children’s cries.

Call out My Name.

Isaiah 35:5-7
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

John 4:14

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

  1. Glynda,

This inspired me to remember a song we use to sing in church called" I've got a river of life flowing in out from me. Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see. Opens prison doors and sets the captive free. I've got a river of life flowing out from me. Spring up oh well within my soul. Spring up oh well and make me whole. Spring up oh well and give to me, that life abundantly". You can find it on youtube. I also have streams in the desert devotionals written years ago. They are still good for todays trials. We all go through the desert at times, but in that time we can feast at the brook as Elijah did when running from Jezebel. God provided for him there by the brook. Isn't that wonderful! But we can't stay there at all times. The Holy Spirit is our springs of living water within us flowing out at all times. Glory!!!

  3. Can you pray for me? I attended a Holy Fire Church in Fremont California Fire of God International. I was told by Pastor Steve Yong Kim that if I come back, he will place restraining order.
He put me on a bus back to Colorado to live with my parents and find a job. I cannot stay with my parents, I have been homeless, without a job and money. I believe it is God's will to attend Fire of God Church in California but they told me I am not allowed to come back. I'm supposed to be in California. The people in Colorado are on a different timing. Can you please pray for me?
