Truly Submit

Am I to blame, My children, when your life becomes a mess and you did not involve me in any of your choices? Am I to blame? Am I to blame when your children go astray when you did not involve me in any of their raising? Am I to blame?

Am I to blame when you have no peace, when I have offered you My peace, the peace that passes understanding since the beginning of time?
When your life becomes unmanageable, am I to blame when you did not involve me in any part of it?

If you will submit your life to Me, truly submit, I will lead you out of the darkness and into My glorious light. I will lead you to joy as you have never known! However, if you insist on keeping Me out of your life, out of your choices, out of every decision, then I am not to blame. You are.

Proverbs 3:5-7
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

  1. Amen. This is a reflection of the "Keys to the Kingdom".
Jesus us gave us keys to a victorious Christian life. They are PREScriptions in the Word of God.
    Things like
    1 Love God FIRST
    2 Love your neighbor
    3 Forgiveness
    4 Love NOT the world...
    and on, and on.
When we don't follow the Prescription God gave us, we reap what we sow.

    God bless you Glynda.

  2. Somebody help, please? I do not really understand this:
" When your life becomes unmanageable, am I to blame when you did not involve me in any part of it? If you will submit your life to Me, truly submit, I will lead you out of the darkness and into My glorious light."
What does it mean that we don't involve God in any part of our lives? If we pray to Him daily, read His word, praise Him, talk to Him in daily situations, and belive He watches over us, what do we need more? I have always had the problem of how to find God's will for my life. How to incorporate Him in every decision? Do I say simply "Your will be done" and wait for the result to appear? Where is the boundry between being active in creating your life, making something out of it (by making choices of what to do) and waiting passively (in deep trust) for God to respond to our prayers. Will he respond without any action being taken on ur part? When do I exactly now that this or that was His choice for me (and not my own)if I cannot hear Him just as prophets or other anointed people do? What if I am just a regular guy with no supernatural hearing skills? How do I know something is His will for my life and something is not (clearly sin is not His will, but this is the simplest case which is obvious)? I'm talking about regular life issues. If the selection criteria is "Seek what is best for the Kingdom" then in the majority of cases I simply don't know what is best for the Kingdom. Example: is working in the financial sector "best for the Kingdom"? It's irrelevant I guess. If its irrelevant, does it mean that I am out of His will? What if I dont know what His will is because I can't recognize it? I would be grateful for help. God Bless.

    1. You have the same ability as the prophets and more. There is no such thing as a regular guy vs a prophet unless you have not applied the word to your life. A prophet is someone who knows and teaches the black and white truth without backing down. God gives us all future Revelation when we are in tune with him. This is what it means Mike. SUBMIT to God. Make do his will. Pray when u wake up, listen and talk to him all day pray before bed. Crucify your flesh meaning to give up everything to him and let go of this life. That's what God wants is for us to take up our cross and follow him. He is the model. Follow it.

    2. Seeking Him and hearing His voice, for me, requires getting quiet before Him. Try this. We know how to enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Then cycle in and out of quietness and reading the Bible. Back to more quietness. U r looking for a still, small voice, thought or unction. I think we talk too much and listen too little. Just wait for Him if He would speak, give Him opportunity. As for raising your children, seek and study what the Word says on how we are to do this. New Testament tells us how to structure our families, husband, wife, children, ect. But old Testament, leviticus tells us alot as it pertains to covering our children, idolitry, tatoos, keeping our bodies Holy as well. The 10 commandments. And teaching our children to meditate on God's Word. Simply making the Bible important and education important in your home. Speaking blessings over your children ; some are written in the Bible.

  5. Hi MikePL,

The first question I wanna ask you is, have you received Spirit the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Scripture references Matt 3:11, John 16:13. It was after I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that I found out Gods will in my life, heard God verbally speak to me, and became very conscious of Gods leadership in my life. If you "think" you may have been filled with the Holy Spirit, then you probably haven't. You absolutely would know if you been Spirit filled. I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit by seeking Him for about 3 months. Singing to God in my house, asking anybody I thought might know about who he was. I just had a strong desire to be filled with the Spirit, and one night I was filled right in my bedroom.

I started with the question of receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit because He actually would teach you how to hear Him. Sometimes He chooses to communicate verbally, others times He speak though other people such as your Pastor, something said will just bear with your spirit and you just know it was from God. Sometimes God moves in situations and you know it was more than mere coincidence that all the chips fell in place. Sometimes your reading the bible and a certain scriptures seem to leap off the page at you, or your repeatedly led to the same scriptures. He speaks to you in a variety of ways. All His children have the ability to hear Him! That means you too! The closer we are to Him, I think the better able we are to hear Him.

Pray over everything, then take action according to the circumstances, then pay careful attention to what doors open and/or close for you. Like if your looking for a job, send out your resume. But God will direct your step on what job offers you actually get. Partially on what you asked Him for and what is actually His will for you. For Gods will for your life, such as what career you should be in, who to marry ect... personally, I did not receive this information for my own life until I began to seriously seek God. About 3 months after I got water baptized and just before I was filled with the Holy Spirit I was prophecied to that God called me to be an Evangelist. When I got Spirit filled, God If you truly want to know why God created you and His specified purpose for YOU, pray and ask Him. Keep knocking until you get an answer. Seek Him. There are no "regular" guys in Gods Kingdom.Your special and unique. There never has been and never will be ANYONE created exactly like you. And whatever Gods purpose is for you, will be taylor made for you. With your unique stengths, gifts and talents. We all have a distinct purpose for being alive. Seek God wholeheartedly and He will answer these questions for you. Be Blessed!

  6. MikePL, I'm kind of in the same boat you are brother. Learning to hear God is something I want to sharpen. But in the meantime, I'm in a season of rest in my life. I'm beginning to understand that we begin from a position of rest. For me, the single scariest piece of Scripture is Matthew 6:21-23 Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. I have taken this very seriously and I don't want to do anything outside of His will. There are many little decisions in life and quite a few big decision. Maybe this will give you a little peace...I think I've heard it said/stated to do what you know is right in the small things and for the big things, seek God and wait on Him for His answer. I believe God has me in the wilderness right now. I've been put into situations to where He is the only one who can answer my questions and bring things to pass. Just last night, I saw God's Not Dead 2 with some friends. Something very profound was stated...that when your taking a test, the teacher is often silent. What I am learning is "Be still and know that I am God". Ask God your questions...I honestly don't think that God will be upset by questions. But when you get the answer, thank Him and go forward in it. I believe you will recognize when He answers. For me brother, He speaks to me through my circumstances most often. I've rarely heard Him in my spirit...but I want more of it. I hope this helps brother. God bless!

  8. Blessed One, Kelly, N8te, Gabrielle, thank you all for your answers. I took them to heart. I definitely had not had the baptism of the Holy Spirit- otherwise I would have known it. I will seek to receive it. I definitely beleive though he is leading me through various situations in life. I will also seek to have a more direct communication with Him, as you suggested. Keep your fingers crossed. I hope I will have a nice praize report to write some day. God Bless!
