Purify

Purify your hearts before Me. Purge your thoughts of all that you know does not please Me, that I may bless you more.

Great and mighty blessings lie in store for those who will do this.

1 Kings 18:21  And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

1 Timothy 6:12-16

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

James 4:8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

  1. I thought it might be helpful to some to give some practical advice as to how one can purge their thoughts of anything unpleasing to God, as He directs in the latest word Glynda shared. We are spiritual beings. We have a human body. Our mind is the CPU, if you will, of our body. It is amoral; will accept anything we intake and remember. It is also subject to our spirit; the real person we are. Therefore, command your mind what it will and will not receive. Speak the words verbally, specifically, directly and forcefully. It is a command.
    It takes practice, as do all things we learn. Ephesian's says that Satan's domain is the air; thoughts. You have authority over him and what he presents you. Tell your mind not to receive anything from his domain.
    Take time to thank God for the power He has given us!

  2. Thanks very much to JWM for your helpful advice! I would further like to add that we have both a conscious and sub-conscious mind that needs protection, and so it is also a good idea to ask for a divine hedge of protection to be enforced around our minds & subconscious, and to daily ask that His holy angels be empowered to reinforce that hedge of protection. It's so true that we live in a world ruled and manipulated by entities hell-bent on mind control techniques so subliminal, overpowering, and effective, that those who subject themselves to public media outlets are especially & constantly bombarded and don't even realize it. The 'air waves' are filled with mind-control warfare, frequencies, and powers beyond our knowledge & awareness, beyond our range of seeing & hearing, or understanding. So plead the Blood over your mind & your heart, and pray for angelic reinforcements, then stand on our promise- "No weapon formed against me shall prosper..." rick/AK
