Chained - REPOST

Thursday, May 3, 2012

                                                        Chained

I  was deep in worship, adoring the Lord, when chains appeared on my hands, then on my feet, then shackles appeared on my legs. I began to cry out and beg Him to break the chains off me, and He began to speak this message.

My bride has enslaved herself to the world and its ways. I desire that she would free herself, but she would not, for she has preferred the pleasures of the flesh over all I can give to her.

In the spirit, I saw the world, and all the people there. At first they were all walking towards the world, then some began to turn back and worship the King of Kings. As the group that had turned back worshiped Him, I saw golden oil pouring down from heaven onto them from His hand. As they worshiped, the group that kept walking towards the world groaned heavily as they continued moving further into darkness, and chaos.

My bride's chains are forged in her own sins and she refuses to lay them down, though I have already set her free, and ordained her freedom from sin.

I have called to My children again and again, but they turn not, and now judgment must come to the earth. Those who will not turn from sin shall perish, for the wages of sin is death, My children.

Why do you prefer darkness over light? For I withhold no good thing from those who serve Me and walk in My ways, yet you refuse and continue in bondage. You no longer cry out for freedom, for you have found comfort in your sins and prefer them to Me, and My ways. This is truly grievous in My eyes.

In the spirit, I saw as the people in chains sinned, their chains became heavier and heavier.

Every act, every deed of darkness, adds to your chains. Do you not see your bondage? Do you not feel the weight of your sins and long to be free to serve Me with your whole heart? You have cast Me aside like an old lover and taken up with the world. (When He said that, I heard a great grieving sadness in His voice)

The evil one comes for you, My children, and those under heavy weight of sin shall not be able to escape him in time.

Turn now - turn to Me and cry out and I shall make you free.

Romans 6:16: Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

II Corinthians 6:14: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Psalm 84:11: For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

John 8:34: Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Luke 5:32: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

John 8:36: If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Acts 3:19: Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

James 4:4: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Ephesians 5:27: That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

II Peter 2:9: The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
