I Am Knocking
I stand at the
door of your heart, knocking for you to let Me come in. I knock incessantly at
the areas of your heart you have given over to the enemy of your souls. I ask
for admittance that I might set you free, and keep you safe from his
destruction in your lives, My children, but I cannot come into those areas and
set you free unless you open the door to Me. You must be willing to lay down
these sins. You must be willing to recognize them as sins. You must be willing
to allow Me to open your eyes, to show you your sin, and willing that I might
deliver you of it.
I came to set
the captives free, and sometimes you are held captive by your desire for
earthly things, for fleshly pleasures. For filthy lucre. I desire you would
seek after spiritual things, not earthly ones, but I know every temptation you
face as I have walked among you.
Will you open
the doors of your heart to Me today, that I might free you? Are you willing to
see your sin and be set free or do you prefer to hold the enemy close in your
heart?
You cannot serve
two masters. Light and darkness is increasing in every heart. You must choose
to let go of the darkness to receive the light.
[Luk 4:18-19
KJV] 18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to
preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to
preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to
set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the
Lord.
[Mat 6:24 KJV]
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the
other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve
God and mammon.
[Rev 3:18-21
KJV] 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be
rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of
thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou
mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore,
and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my
voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he
with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne,
even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
