If You Want More of Me

So many of My children wonder why they feel so far away from Me. Children, do you not know that I am always near you? Yet your thoughts are far away from Me.

I have told you I am a jealous God. I Am. And I will not take second place in your life. I will not compete with your other loves – your video games, television programs, sports and activities. I will not compete with your time with your friends.

If you want more of Me, you can have it. I give it to you gladly. But it is up to you to make room in your life if I am to fill it with My glorious spirit.

Psa 119:105 -105 NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Exo 20:3 - 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Deut 6:5 - 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Matt 10:38-39 - 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Rev 2:4 - 4 Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
