How Will You Know

My children often view hard paths as a negative thing, but I tell you truly, they are a very good thing, for rocky paths teach you to how to find your way.

If there is never an obstacle in your path, if there is never a rough place in your walk with Me, if there is never anything negative in your life, how will you truly know Who I am? How will you know My faithfulness? If you are never in need, if you never know pain, how will you know My healing power? How will you know My mighty power to provide for you out of nothing, when all around you is desolate and barren?

Just as men train for war, I am training My children to survive in the battlefields of the enemy that are coming.

Psalm 144:1  Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

James 1:2-4

2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Isaiah 41:10  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 43:15-19

15 I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

16 Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

  1. HI, the verse about the Lord training our hands for war is something the Lord showed last week through Judges 3:
    1Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan; 2Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;

    War has it's purpose in the heart of God and we are to follow His heart.
    We need to get away from our individualistic approach our society teaches and together to fight the spiritual darkness. Amen!!!

  4. All praise & glory to Jesus on this testimony of His faithfulness in my rough places. I was a new baby Christian and had just found a prophetic Word site when it seemed that almost every Word applied directly to me. I was so excited & zealous about this! Satan used another medium to convince me she was a prophet also, and to distract me from my walk, but I didn't know how those things worked yet. She drew me a map of the location of a very rich vein of gold that ran through a mountain meadow way up in the outback regions of Oregon, miles from no-where. She told me it was a gift from God to help our family survive after the coming Y2K disasters, and that when the timing was right I was to go dig it up and sell it. I knew the location, but left it alone for a few years, thinking not to spoil the secret!
    Then one day the Lord gave a Word out over that prophetic site saying- "Meet Me in our secret place this weekend". So I packed the truck with all my camping gear and drove over 500 miles to that desolate gold mining area, all excited to meet Jesus! I pulled into a camping spot & shut the engine off, only to discover the battery was almost dead. So I spent the weekend camping, praying, and learning to be quiet. A herd of elk came down and grazed all around my truck in the surrounding meadow at night, and I had a most awesome camping trip. But after a couple of days I started praying fervently, asking the Lord to send help to get me out of there. About 4 or 5 different people came by, a miracle in itself, and offered me a jump, but the battery wouldn't hold the charge only long enough for them to think I was OK and then leave. So I finally decided I must walk the 7 miles to the nearest pay-phone to call for a tow. But I had just had both hips operated on and could barely walk! 7 miles seemed like 70 miles to me! It was an impossible walk in the real wilderness, in bear country! So the next morning I prayed and asked Jesus to send me a ride, then decided to set out and start walking, even if it took all day, until the Lord answered my prayers...
    As soon as my feet hit the gravel at the edge of the road I heard the exhaust of a pickup that just topped the pass on the opposite side of this long valley basin. I could hear him coming & wondered- could it be the answer to my prayers? I could hear his truck winding its way all through the pine trees, down the valley and along the creeks. As I walked I kept wondering if this was the Lord's answer to my prayers? I listened to his engine noise for seeming miles, as he made his way toward me, nearer and nearer. There was a fork in the road about half way, and he could have turned and went another way, but he didn't. I could hear him getting closer and closer, until finally he pulled up along side of me on the road, stopped, and hollered- "Hey, ya need a ride?" I had only walked about a hundred feet, but it seemed like an eternity! Jesus is always near and faithful to His own!
