The
serpent is among you now, children, and he is crafty in his plans against your
lives. Be wise, and be prudent, that you do not get in his snares. He can
appear as an angel of light, but there is no light in him. There is no truth in
him, and no life. His desire towards you is evil only, and he longs to see you
destroyed. He strives to wipe out the destiny I have planned for you.
Only
the wisest among My children can escape his grasp, for he works harder now than
ever, for he knows his time is short now.
Many
of you already see the enemy’s hand of destruction working in your lives, in
your relationships, in your finances, destroying your dreams.
Walk
in wisdom and in love, My precious ones, that he not succeed in taking your
crown from you. You were born to be the royal priesthood, but you must walk in
My ways now more than ever.
Proverbs 1:5-7
5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning;
and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation;
the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of
knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 13:13-15
13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but
he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to
depart from the snares of death.
15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of
transgressors is hard.
2 Corinthians 11:3, 14
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the
simplicity that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:14
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed
into an angel of light.
I thought the crown of life couldn't be taken away...is it that Satan will keep drawing us back to world to the point we give up on our faith and loose the crown of life?
ReplyDeleteCol 2:18 8Let no man rob you of your prize
DeleteRev 3: 10 I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown.
What's most concerning to me is the statement "Only the wisest among My children can escape his grasp, for he works harder now than ever, for he knows his time is short now."
ReplyDeleteThis made me think of Jas 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (KJV)
Looks like I should be praying everyday for God's wisdom. But how is a relatively young believer like me (recommitted my life to the Lord about 2 years ago) supposed to be equipped? Maybe I answered my own question by asking the Lord to give me wisdom.
Amen
ReplyDeleteCan you pray for me?
ReplyDeleteSavedbygrace16 - Yes, I think that is what He means.
ReplyDeleteKelly Ward - The Word, the Word, the Word. That's the only way ANY of us can be equipped. Jesus bless you - you can do this! ~ Glynda
ReplyDeleteThank you for the encouragement Glynda!
ReplyDeleteHang in there everyone. I'm hanging on by the skin of my teeth!
ReplyDeleteThank you Glynda for sharing these incredible messages, they give me strength when i'm so weak. There are days when i feel like just giving up but by the power and love of Jesus i keep going. Please pray for me.
If anyone on face book ( and I only follow godly ministries On it ) there is a great post today by mark Chen - the lords massage yo the 14400 - goes in line with Rosie lovejoy mighty men of valour , but mark Chen gives a great description of how the end times will play out , most accurate I've seen to date
ReplyDeleteMa, ny have asked me about our crowns being taken away in this word. The Lord did not tell me specifically, but there are I think about five crowns, and this may refer to the one talked about in 1 Corinthians 9:25: And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible, which I think is the crown we get for mastering our flesh, subduing it - in other words, gaining mastery over sin (like with old sins, so that the devil does not entangle us again).
ReplyDeleteLucifer was built with wisdom in him, Ezek 28:12. He uses wisdom against us to deceive us. Sometimes it's not a lie but a lower truth in that situation in exchange for a higher one. For example, you see a man smoking a cigarette on his way to church and he steps out of the car in the parking lot and you saw him put his cigarette out. Now you are judging him and told your friend about it. You put righteousness above love, when love is above your righteousness. Crafty. So we have to really give our hearts to God and be hidden, and seek Him and study the Word, and walk in love to combat this ancient foe. He appears as an angel of light. That means he can go to your church and blend in, and maybe even be the top respected one sitting right there in the front row. Beware of the leaven, even in ourselves, Jesus said
