Response to Inquiry About Attacks

I was praying and inquiring of the Lord about the many emails and phone calls I received in the last week about Christians attacking other Christians. I myself have also come under attack in the last week. This is what the Lord said about the attacks.

The greatest attacks are yet to come, My children. You see an increase in the attacks of others upon you even now, but I tell you that far greater attacks than these are coming and many of you shall not endure. By this method does the enemy cause many to fall, to stumble, and to lose their hold on salvation.

They simply stop believing in Me because their eyes are distracted to those around them.

My people, you are called to believe in Me and stand on My word alone, but you judge Me by what you see in those in the earth who are only human vessels of My nature. Why do you not seek Me and know Me for yourselves? Why do you insist that I am like them when I have called you all to be like Me?

In times coming, above all else, I desire that you would love one another.

Matthew 18:7: Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Philippians 1:9-11: And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; (10) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. (11) Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

John 13:35: By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Romans 12:10: Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one

  1. Hello,

Thank you for this post. I just wanted to tell you that I have also felt very strongly that we are being called to love one another now more than ever.

    God Bless

  2. It' very difficult to see the Church Triumphant in North America right now. I see Christians around me losing heart because of the bad things happening all around, and unemployment, and people generally being uncaring. I am struggling, too, and often feel like I have tripped over a precipice with nothing but God's hand holding on to me. I am finding that assertive prayer like the ones Dr. Cindy Thinn proposes is helpful, as the spiritual warfare increases all around us. Thank you, Glynda.

  3. Dear Glynda,
I think the best thing we can do is pray without ceasing for these 'brothers/sisters' b/c what's true is they have some open door inside their heart where the enemy has found rest. If they are unforgiving, or angry, even angry at something or someone else, they can lash out on you. (Experienced this in a harsh way recently). I keep praying for this person that they will have breakthrough.
    Peace,

  4. This what I was trying to say awhile ago before my comments were offending the soft at heart of the love church.

The christian theology of the love church today is:

    Love before understanding.

If you confuse a love church person they attack. That is why this type of theology is a mile wide and one inch deep.

A love church person sees something and automatically loves it because that is what they have been taught to do. This causes two things to happen.

    1. They will not understand if they don't receive love back and many times will go on the attack when confused by a person who believes seeks understanding first.

    2. They will lovingly open the doors to anyone like the biblical tares in the bible who seek to destroy Gods church and people.

The love first theology is Satans strategy for his tares.

  5. I kindof agree with anonymous. GOD calls us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. We need serious understanding. If someone is not being humbled or if they refuse the humbling...you might watch out for that. Even a believer may refuse humbling.
If we want to love like HIM, we need to know first that we are loved by HIM. And HIS love includes humbling us. (HE disciplines those HE loves).
At the same time that someone is attacking you, we dont need to fear or react angrily either. We need to pray for them!
KING YESHUA has the victory in HIS hands! Amen!

  6. My dear friend S. asked me to post this comment for her:

As brothers and sister in Christ we are called to pray for one another and encourage each other in the Lord. When we revile our brothers and sisters with accusations and fault-finding then we are not truly serving God but we have allowed ourselves to become instruments of the enemy.

Satan is know as 'the accuser of the brethren'. As believers, when we have confessed and repented of our sins there is no record of them in Heaven. 'Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth'. Romans 8:33.
Lately, I have been finding articles online that 'out' ministers and ministries with strong words of condemnation and backbiting. What positive purpose does this serve? There is already an 'accuser of the brethren'. God has not appointed any of us to do this in the way of personal attacks. If a person is 'out of line' with a ministry then it is God's right to discipline that person, not ours. Paul writes on the process of dealing with one who is not right with his behavior or his teachings. This was never to be misconstrued as allowing for a 'one person attack'.

We are living in the last days and the enemy is rampant and relentless in his attacks on believers. This is the time for us to stand together, against him, and walk in the Love that Jesus Christ has given us. What sort of fruits are we manifesting when we walk in attack? Attacking others comes from a seed of hatred. The Fruits of the Spirit are kindness, patience, gentleness, joy, goodness, love, faithfulness, peace, and self-control. Where among those are 'hatred', 'jealousy', 'condemnation', 'judgment', 'false accusations', and 'reviling'? Those are weapons of the enemy.

I am saddened to read about the attacks on Glynda and on others who are truly 'giving all' to do the ministry that we've all been called to do. I will say this: whenever we come under attacks it is due to a recent spiritual advancement or a soon coming spiritual advancement. If we are not doing works that draws the ire of the enemy then we are sitting still. The reason that the enemy sends attacks is to stop us from doing the work that God has called us to do, to keep us from praying, and reading His Holy Scriptures, and to 'stall' us as we recover from being wounded. Attackers need to repent for this unacceptable behavior, get back into the Word, and to get back into the prayer closet and repent. Let us be doers of the Word and not workers of darkness. The hour is late and there is much work to be done.

  8. "...and to lose hold on salvation.." I am confused by that statement. It makes it sound like we are in control of getting and keeping our salvation. The Bible teaches that once we are saved we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and placed in the right hand of Christ and that no one can take our salvation away.

  9. scisme, Someone else also inquired about that part of the word. I had the feeling the Lord meant those who have not come all the way into believing yet - like they kind of believe, but don't know Him enough to truly believe. Does that make sense? I was 'saved' back when I was married, but I turned away later and went fully back out into the world, forgot about God, denied there was a God and was even getting back into New Age and occult practices. There is no way I was saved while I was doing all that, because I had completely stopped believing in God.

At the point I am now in my walk with Him, it would be impossible for me to ever deny Him again because I truly know Him this time. Before, I sat in dry churches and heard about a Savior from 2,000 years ago and a set of rules I was supposed to follow. Now I have a relationship with the living Savior of not only 2,000 years ago, but of today. I no longer just know about Him, I actually know Him, so I could never deny Him again as I did when I went back into the world before.

    Hope this helps explain it!

Blessings - and thanks for posting -

    Glynda

  10. We as born again believer's in Jesus Christ want to do what our faith calls for, and that is to love first, never show our anger or it could destroy our witness, and strive to be above sinning when we fall into temptation. Sadly we fail more times than we like to admit. The apostle Peter swore to Jesus that he would never deny Him, but would rather die if need be. I don't doubt that Peter honestly believed, and was sincere when he spoke those words. But when actually faced with the prospects of being killed for being a follower of Jesus he coward under fear and swore that he did not know Him. We as christian's don't always behave in the manner we visualize in certain cercumstances. That is when we fall on our knees or stand before the alter of our God pounding our chest with our fist as the publican did, and cry, Lord, have mercy on me a sinner. Our failure's are a constant reminder that we are in continuing need of God's mercy, forgiveness, and grace. Thank you Lord that we can come boldly before the Throne of Grace and cry out to you in thanksgiving.

  11. Dear Scisme,

I think that's an excellent comment and question.

"...and to lose hold on salvation.."

Glynda I believe the LORD is talking about things that HE speaks like:

    Hebrews 3:6
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

    Emphasis on "hold fast" here.

Many are talking about things shaking. I believe the LORD is speaking about those who aren't steadfast. I pray we all be steadfast, faith unfeigned, hoping til the end.

    Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Scisme I totally agree with you that our faith comes from the LORD and HE alone keeps us.

I hope this helps. I recommend reading the word with these two things in mind, they seem like they contradict each other, but they don't. The sum of thy words is truth. Amen?

  13. I understand things must happen, I just feel like for alot of belivers it seems to be constant warnings (which I am thankful for) "not many of you are going to make it, the losses will be great, you will betrayed, you are going to go through this and go through that, you are going to lose this, you are going to lose that." I just want to see the clouds break for Yah's people. it seems that we have to get the brunt of alot. I am not one who was just saved 2 months ago. Yah saved me 28 years ago, and I have been through alot of loss and tests of my faith I have just gone through another series of losses; my home, my job many of my possesions. I yet praise yah in the midst of it. It has been hard for many of us then words are coming foth "more is coming it will get worse so brace yourself" as I said I am thankful for the warnings, I just wonder will there ever be a day when Yah's people can rejoice? I do not speak of things I speak of those that mourn in zion be comforted (is 61:3)

  14. This post really spoke to me becasue I have dealt with the serious betrayal at the hands of two so called "friends" in the Lord. These were not the run of the mill "church going" nominal believers. They had serious annoinitngs. The ringleader took it upon herself to instigagte the betrayal I have found those are the ones that can be the most hurtful becasue I let down my guard a little more around them becaseu they are supposed to know better and be better, but I was wrong. I can deal with the unsaved and nominal believers becasue I know where they are at, but I exepect more of those who claim to walk closely with the Most High, but then I learned that annoinintg does not mean love. You can be very annointed but not a very nice person. These women were annointed but did not walk in love. Paul speaks of that in I Cor 13 that it is possible to have the gifts, annointing and the power but not LOVE. The hurt was so deep for me that I began to think Yah felt the same way about me that these women did and your post reminded me that I was projecting their failures on Yah, they are human vessels with flaws and shortcomings. they will be held accountable for their stuff like we all will but I have to keep yah yah and them human and never confuse the two.

  15. Demita - I am so sorry to hear you have been going through so much pain and loss. You are right, great anointing does not always mean they also have great love, and that is very sad to see the one without the other, isn't it? I will say a prayer for you this morning, Demita. I pray things begin to improve for you and that He showers you in blessings and great joy. ~ Glynda

  16. If Christ Himself and the Apostles were to be persecuted by the leaders of the church, then unfortunately, we have no reason to expect otherwise ourselves as we are not greater than our Master.

Christ was persecuted literally to death by the Pharisees, who relied on their own understanding of the law and their own abilities over God.

The Apostle Paul, who was bestowed leadership in the Church by God Himself, had to endure such comments such as "His letters are impressive and moving but his actual presence is feeble and his speaking beneath contempt." (2 Corinthians 10:7-11) from his critics at a time when Jesus had just recently left the earth.

A good point of reference in what some of the early church leaders had to deal with from early churches can be found here:

  17. And so I encourage you to continue fighting the good fight Glynda, and I thank you for everything you do for us.

It is a normal human temptation to approach the written word of God with an attitude of "I will determine what God's message means and thus ensure my own salvation", instead of approaching it with an attitude of "Lord, please reveal your purpose to me and the meaning of your written word as it applies to me".

I believe it is the people who believe they can 'figure it all out' that are the most likely to attach other Christians, because what ends up happening is when God leads Christians to perform actions based on His leadership and nothing else, that simply don't make sense until you've gone through the motions of doing what He asks, they can't make sense of what is happening or make peace with it in their own mind. This shakes their faith to its core and instead of challenging their own beliefs many people end up attacking the person that is the source of their confusion instead.

People should not forget the part in Scripture where it states that faith without works is dead. I liken the people that believe they're born again but don't Honor Jesus as the Lord and Master in their lives to the Jews in Jesus' time that thought they were saved simply because they were Jewish by heritage. Jesus said 'I could raise sons of Abraham from these very rocks!', meaning that being a Jewish person by heritage alone means nothing. It is our walk with God that refines us, and prepares us for the kingdom of heavern.

  19. Thank you, Eric. I don't think the attacks I got are anything compared to what some others I know are enduring right now.

A wise friend taught me that if you look in the background of those who most often judge, point fingers, accuse and slander other Christians and ministries, you will always find someone in their childhood who judged them and was harsh on them the same way. The ones who do it the most and completely without love seem to be those who were beaten by their fathers here on earth.

It is hard to show mercy and compassion if you've never seen what it looks like at home.

    God bless you, Eric.

  20. Thanks for sharing that Glynda!

I agree that the way a person is raised greatly impacts the way they view the world. And if a person has never truly experienced unconditional love it's hard for them to learn it and share it with others.

God Bless you as well Glynda. I hope you have a wonderful day!

For this is the day that the Lord has made ;).

P.S. Sorry for all of my typos earlier...

  21. Thank you Glynda, I pray the same for you. I roll with the punches by Yah's grace, I just realized when I re-read I Corithians 13 that Paul was saying it is possible to move powerfully in the Holy Spirit and yet lack love for people. I always thought if you were annointed, you must surely love people. I was wrong and after a few betrayals at the hands of some very "annointed" people I had to re-evaluate what I belived about that. Yah will use whoever is availible for his purposes. the anoointing of prophecy fell on Saul after Yah rejected him to spare Daivid's life and that is a very telling story. I am learning to ask Yah to help me guard my heart because according to what Yah showed you many are not going to make it, I can't help but think of that scripture "because inquity shall abound, the love of many will wax cold." I wonder if it is becaseu so many people have had their hearts broken by people so much, their hearts just harden. I really care for people but I had to start being a little more guarded in how I care for people and not be so naive.

  22. Thank you Glynda, Joshua and Eric and everyone for your comments. It is so good to be part of a family of true believers.

I agree that many people who hurt/attack others were hurt as children. I was raised in an abusive family and didn't learn unconditional love, actually the opposite. Though now I do not hurt others, I do have issues receiving love and feeling worthy. Thankfully Jesus came to me in a dream when I was a teenager and told me He loved me and would never leave me. Praise Jesus for finding me worthy of love and salvation, I would never have made it without Him.

  23. Hi Glynda. Good word. The scripture is clear that in the last days, the church overcame "by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony," not "by vicious verbal attacks." And thank you for providing a way to help us understand those who attack so, it makes it easier to forgive.

One thing that is disturbing in these comments is the question about losing hold of salvation. Rev. 3:5 makes it clear that one's name CAN be blotted out of the Lamb's book of life. Scary but true. There is no other way to read that passage. Matt. 18:23-35 shows one way that forgiveness is blocked with eternal consequences. John 13:8 points out the absolutely essential need for being forgiven for daily sins, again with eternal consequences for failure..."have no part with me" is not something I want to experience in eternity. Finally, why would there be such a solemn warning in scripture to "see to it that no one deceives you" in the last days?

The scripture makes it clear that God will never leave us. We will never get lost in the shuffle, God knows exactly who we are. However, that does not mean we will never leave God. We are free will beings and have the ability to do that. At this juncture, some Bible expositors invoke the "if they left, they were not truly saved" which is the "no true Scotsman" logic fallacy in disguise.

Yes it is a frightening thought that we can lose our salvation. However, Paul even reflects this fear, that he may "somehow be disqualified." This should put an extraordinary edge on our desire to live holy lives, bear good fruit and to watch and pray.
