Victory Is Yours

The enemy has troubled My people on many sides and brought much distress in every area of your lives. It is truly not My will for you to live in defeat, My people, for My Son died that you might walk in victory.

Why do you allow this victory to be trampled underfoot? Why do you not stand and fight for what is truly yours? Take your rightful places and walk in all I have given you. You are not children of the darkness, but children of the light.

Victory is yours. Walk in it and let your light so shine that others may see and know the power of the mighty God you serve!

1 Corinthians 15:57: But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 6:12-13: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Proverbs 4:18: But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Matthew 5:16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

  1. I think that taking one's rightful place, standing and fighting for what is ours is easier said than done. Honestly, I can "claim" all day long what is mine and that we have victory in Him but in reality, it doesn't change the dynamics of one's life. I may even walk in obedience and faith but when circumstances don't change, these are the very things that can make one feel quite downcast.
I really don't get the whole "walking in what is rightfully yours" bit as much a I'd like to--as if it was that easy. Am I missing something? Its not like I can make things happen in and of myself. I am wholly dependent on God. I can't miraculously change circumstances, even while being faithful.

  3. Dear Glynda,

What you have written is a confirmation once again to that which I am seeing and hearing. The Father is anointing His chosen and preparing us for battle. We who are sealed are not to walk in fear. We are the Kingdom, we are His light. I was shown today how the angels are pouring the anointing oil out, and we are being given swords of the spirit. How exciting to be one of His elect! Thank you for continuing to post your messages. God bless you,

  4. I so needed to read this, especially today. I can't imagine that my issue is any more than just a tiny little speck in the whole grand scheme of things, but it has caused much stress, much distraction, and stolen joy from me.

As of yesterday, quite out of the blue, I began to make plans on doing something tonight that I pray will bring resolution to this issue. Though doing so will be very scary, I feel peace with this decision.

So coming across this blog post, today of all days, gives me hope for the outcome.

  5. Brandy,

I don't know what the issue is, but if it's important to you, it's important to God. What you're going through is also important to me. I will pray for you today!

    Hugs to you, Sis!

  7. To VJM
I hope I can encourage you a bit. We are filled with Christ who is the hope of glory. We are known and read of all, we may be the only bible someone sees. Living according to the principles given in scripture is so important. Jesus said to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, strength and your neighbor as yourself. Know your God so that when others ask you about your hope you lead them to Jesus. God is in charge of everything and we don't see what He is busy doing....perhaps unchanged circumstances are part of His plan. Keep your focus on Him, pray powerfully by speaking His Word back to Him then leave it all in His Hands. Move forward to another person you see who is not yet saved. Only God knows what is in their heart. At a McD's having lunch the presence of the Lord surrounded me and my spiritual mentor as I was a babe in Christ and I realized I should go over to a fellow and talk with him. We did, that man became saved and testified that he had asked God if anyone cared about him. He said God answered his prayer because we were obedient and witnessed to him. He planned to commit suicide, he was so low. Instead he received Jesus into his heart and is saved. That kind of work is what we are to do. God is wanting you to worship Him and to clear your mind of fear, doubt, whatever negative thoughts and bring them captive to Jesus and let Him take care of them. God speaks all the time if we will listen. Those quick little thoughts are His voice guiding you. When you don't act on them you realize after the fact that it was God talking to you. His love is so great and He wants you to receive it. The love of the Lord inside you helps win the lost to Jesus.
satan wants to steal, kill and destroy. He gets you to take your eyes off Jesus then messes your mind so you become doubting and fearful, and discouraged. It takes mental discipline to think scripture as your daily bread and covers you with armor. God's timing is different than ours. Should the circumstances you speak of shouldn't change, you have the power to change the way you think and behave. That is the overcoming work of the Holy Spirit in yours and the rest of us lives. One important factor to consider is this, is the prayer you are praying about your circumstance in His will? Praying according to His will is a sure way to see change. Examine your heart, what is your motivation, for you or for God. Submit your desires to Jesus and He will take care of you. Seek out the will of God and be about His business and you will see amazing changes.
May God speak to you His will and give you peace of mind to do His will.
    Blessings upon you.

  9. Ty Lois. wise words indeed.

I have several non-saved people in my life I have come to know and care for. In fact, I do believe my being in one of their lives, it's what stops them from suicide.

Although on the surface I agree of course w/ praying God's will, I've done that in some very big areas (like protection of a little child from abuse from a relative, her father, or protecting a marriage for that matter) but nevertheless the opposite happened, even with daily consistent prayer and belief. Trouble is it always comes down to free will of those around one too.
