Love Your Enemies

Remember to love your enemies. As you return good and love for their evil, they will feel conviction, and you shall reap rewards.

As you walk in the earth doing My will, obeying what I have commanded, your circumstances shall change for the better.

First, I desire you would change.

Strive to walk in My ways, so I may bless you, My child.

This is the answer you have prayed for.

Matthew 5:43-48:
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. ...

Psalm 23:5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

  1. Sometimes it is really hard to do this, especially when they think they can get away with bad behavior when others aren't looking. I have the greatest desire to quit a ministry right now due to some nonsense going on. Praying to know what to do because right now I don't know at all.

  2. JM, Yes, sometimes it is very hard to love people. At times we ourselves must have been very hard to love as well.

Loving our enemies I don't think means staying a part of a corrupt ministry, if that is what is going on. I don't believe God ever wants us to be a part of anything corrupt. I hope this is helpful to you - God bless you - Glynda

  3. I think a lot of people take this to mean do nothing and simply let evil come in. Which lead to apathy. However, in hindsight, there is no cookie cutter solution but to always follow the Spirit of God.
I am thinking of how Islam is encroaching on America and how America is rolling over. Is it love? Fear? or complacency?

  4. I've struggled with this as well. Loving someone doesn't mean sparing their feelings. It's standing up for what's right with love even though they still may see you as the bad guy. Faithful are the wounds of a friend...
