Listen to My Heart for My
people. I, wisdom, cry out begging you to turn from your wicked ways. To lay
down your sins and repent before it is too late.
I long to bless My children
so much more than they now are, yet their words and deeds prevent Me, for I
cannot bless you when you cling to your iniquity. You must consecrate yourself
to serve only Me, for I will not share your love with another. My Name is
Jealous.
Which will you choose? Your
sin or My blessing?
NOTE: Iniquity
means evil, perversity, the punishment of sin. The word iniquity in Gen. 19:15
comes from a root word meaning to do wickedly or perversely, or to do wrong.
Proverbs 1:20-26
20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice
in the streets:
21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in
the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love
simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate
knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour
out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have
stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and
would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will
mock when your fear cometh;
Malachi 3:13
Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What
have we spoken so much against thee?
Genesis 19:15 And when the morning arose, then
the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters,
which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
Matthew 24:12
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The
Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of
Christ depart from iniquity.
Exodus 34:14
For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is
Jealous, is a jealous God:
