Lean Not

Lean not to your own understanding in these times, but be led by My Spirit, says the Lord, for only I know the way that is safe for you. I shall lead you on a magnificent journey, full of wonder and amazement, and prospering your soul along the way. A journey of knowing Me better.

Be willing to be led, to lay down your own plan, your own desires, to possess the Kingdom. In this way will you walk into your destiny in Me.

Proverbs 3:5-7
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Matthew 16:24-26
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

3 John 1:2  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

  1. I pray to have the same level of confidence that Mary had... 38 And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.”

  2. Barnhouse’s book on Romans mentions the word “led” by those being led by the Holy Spirit in the Classical Greek was used in many ways “to be led by sound reason, to be the author of good, to lead a woman to marriage, to lead an army, direct an enterprise, lead by a bridle, to move and impel the mind, a common term for all phases of education, directing, bringing up, the rearing of a child, used for a magnet drawing iron. Also in the sept Old Testiment the word was used when Eve was led to Adam after being made from his side. Beautiful! Thanks for your time,
