Look Carefully

Look carefully at the obstacles I have placed in your path. These have been carefully  and meticulously chosen.

I desire you would ascend to higher levels of promise with Me. I desire to use you in higher levels of ministry for Me, but you have not made yourselves ready, you are not prepared.

When you see yourself, you feel you have done well, but I see something quite different. I see darkness in your heart still, darkness that cannot accompany you on the journey forward.

My children, if you are at a standstill, look to your thoughts, for they will reveal to you the reason why. You believe it is this person or that, but the only person delaying your journey is you.

Matthew 7:3-5
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Isaiah 1:16  Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

Revelation 3:18  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

    1. Just ask the Lord to forgive you. Repent and ask Him to give you strength and keep trying again. .with His strength you'll make it. .on your own. .you won't. So don't quit. .forget about the past because He does when He forgives you and pray to draw closer to Him each day. Pray and fast.it'll give you more power and strength to walk the narrow road.

  4. Once again, Glynda, on target for me. I had so much thrown at me Holy Week, more specifically, from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday, that I thought it was the enemy... my head was spinning it was so much. Knowing now it's from the Lord, I know I didn't too well with those obstacles, sadly. I'm deeply sorry Lord... am watching my thoughts and heart. God bless you Glynda and thank you.

  5. Looks like God is going after that root of Pride. And the root of offense when we get offended and blame others and make excuses Excuses EXCUSES! We should fear and tremble at His Holy Word..and be not slothful..which means to lack enthusiasm or to make up excuses why we can't do as He commands. I'm scared. There are 12 hours in a day. Time to work.

  6. DW- Hi I relly got a lot of help from Gylda's hindereances on the pathway to promotion messages which are on youtube. There are many more than just the one she posted here. I make notes about questions I have and things the Lord shows me and then go back and pray about them. In one of the messages teh Lord said He is testing us in the areas where He is most concerned for our success. These clues give us focus on what we shoudl be praying for and focusing on. Blessings, Marilee

  8. I thought I was doing well and then I stumbled. I am so exhausted and I got knocked down. I just need to get back up and try again.

  9. sigh... we've been stuck in the doldrums for a whole year now... no movement at all... but I do see the Lord rooting out of my heart attitudes that are not of Him... such as dealing with others that are sooo different than I am, yet seeing that I was there years ago, and calling me to walk in patients and love... trust me, it's easier said than done, it's not a natural thing to walk in love, it's of the Spirit, and it's a dieing to self, relinquishing control, and surrendering to the Lord, repenting, repenting, repenting... the anger is hardly there now, praise God for that! Able to let things go quicker now, instead of chewing it over and over in my mind... yes this process is not a pleasant one, but it's a necessary one, the Lord has been patient and kind and loving with us, we must extend the same towards others, and not take up offense... it's spots and wrinkles in our garments, it's time to get clean, washed in the blood of the lamb!
The Lord told us that we are now entering into the time of His promises being fulfilled, and then He said firmly, "My ways are HIGHER!" Yes this is NOT how we would have done it, but He knows best, He sees the full picture and the end result. He doesn't want us to go into the promises and then be disqualified because of the darkness that is within us, that rises up and defiles us. No He wants us to be ready for it, prepared and able to walk in it. Please pray for strength for my husband and I as we go through this process, it's very discouraging by times, since it has been so long waiting. We are trying to be patient. Yet, who are we, we can't see what He sees. God bless you all.

  10. Ezekiel 3:20 NLT
"If righteous people turn away from their righteous behavior and ignore the obstacles I put in their way, they will die. And if you do not warn them, they will die in their sins. None of their righteous acts will be remembered, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.

  11. Rebuke the enemy and he will flee. Do not give him any glory.
