My people, you have not
because not only do you ask not, or you ask amiss, but you are asking the wrong
way for what you desire.
When you approach My Throne
in prayer, you approach all that I Am. I am a great and a mighty God, above all
other gods, but so few of you even fear My mighty power.
Approach Me with reverence,
with fear (for His power), and in anticipation. Look at
your ways, and look at Mine. Remember I am a father who delights to correct
those I love. For those who walk uprightly, there is no good thing I do not
wish for you to enjoy.
James 4:3 Ye
ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your
lusts.
Ecclesiastes 8:11-13
11 Because sentence against an evil work is not
executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them
to do evil.
12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and
his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that
fear God, which fear before him:
13 But it shall not be well with the wicked,
neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth
not before God.
Revelation 3:19
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and
