My children, as
I begin refining you for what is coming, you may find it difficult to
understand My ways. Many of you are not well versed in My Holy Word and that is
why your understanding is lacking. If you will obey Me and become a student of
My Word, your path shall be much easier.
If you
find yourself bewildered as this refining takes place, take counsel with those
who have walked the righteous path longer than you. The more experienced of
them are familiar with My refining methods.
As a child frets
when the parent disciplines it for running towards the road, so you may fret as
I discipline you in order to teach you a better way. Draw closer to Me when
this happens, for I will wrap you in My arms of love and comfort you.
Isaiah 48:10
10 Behold, I
have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of
affliction.
Zechariah 13:8-9
8 And it shall
come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be
cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will
bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is
refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I
will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my
God.
Malachi 3:1-3
1 Behold, I
will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord,
whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the
covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.
2 But who may
abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is
like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
3 And he shall sit
as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and
purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in
righteousness.
Proverbs 4:7
7 Wisdom is the
principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get
understanding.
Deuteronomy 8:2
2 And thou
shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in
the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine
heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
Hebrews 12:11
11 Now no
chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless
afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are
exercised thereby.
