A Throwaway God

Many have let their guard down now as the economy has shown signs of life again, feeling they no longer need Me, but they are mistaken.

My people, do you not know? Do you not see what is happening around you? Will you never learn to stop wavering like thin reeds in the breeze? Do you not see that I am not a throwaway God like something you pick up at a convenience store and dispose of when it is no longer needed?

Now that your economy looks better, you feel the danger is past and you can relax, but woe to those who so easily turn away from Me, the Fount of Living Water, for your destruction comes upon you suddenly and without warning!

I have given you space to repent but you have quickly turned to the pleasures of the world once again, thinking you have no need of Me now.

Woe unto you, for you shall be like Sodom and Gomorrah in that day, for no other sign shall be given to you who are of a double heart - you shall be quickly taken from the earth when My judgments fall upon your head.

I love you, My children, with an everlasting love, but I will not tolerate unfaithfulness in your hearts. I show Myself faithful to you, show yourselves faithful to Me also. I desire you would come to Me every day, seek My face every day, not only when you have need of My power in your lives! Then shall I be able to protect you from what is coming in the earth.

Jeremiah 2:13: For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Rev. 2:21: And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Deut. 29:22-24: So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;  And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?

Deut. 7:9: Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

  1. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.

  2. Demita, I have been shouting the same thing to all that can not hear the same words Peace, peace, than cometh sudden destruction. In 1929 Black Friday, in one day the economy collapsed, in one day, over night, millions lost millions, it will happen the same way again, everything looks fine and people think all is well and than in one day, one hour it all changes.
As far as the economy recovering, I am not sure where this information came from maybe Fox news ? the truth is according to Trends research, Mr Gerald C. himself speaks the truth, as Peter Shiff does, at times, trends research shows the facts, the economy has not got any better but worse.

Love your blog my sister, watch you on You tube also my dear friend.

  3. "Who you are when no one is looking"... problem is, God is there all the time, and sees us as we are. The warnings went out in the latter half of last year, and God shook people up, but without that where are they now? Did their lives change because of it? Did they draw closer to God by heeding the warning?

Years ago, the Lord gave me a song, a sad one…

“When I said that my Kingdom was coming, and few oho few there will be… when I said that my Kingdom was coming, few said “Oho let one be me”, few said “oho let me be me”.

  4. it's interesting the thought that the economy's better, or this or that is better, so God is pushed or faded into the background, so the economy, or prosperity, money, pleasure and ease etc are God? or the thing desired, or the importance or the fulfillment, or they were gotten by us even? what about Love? love is also a fruit of the Spirit along with faithfulness and many others, these will last through eternity, and they glorify God here now when we walk in Him and them.
Without Him and resting again on things we can touch we're apt to bring forth fresh water and salt from our mouths, speak quickly, and shortly, to another, and other things of the flesh, and those outside see and remark, if that's an outworking of faith who wants it. and God is not glorified. He is our strength, cannot bear fruits of ourselves just as faith is not of ourselves, can faith be increased in Christ? can fruits of the Spirit? draw near to Him He draws near to us, He is our strength, our increase..our everything, apart from Him we can do and produce nothing.

It's not easy, examining my heart I've strings to cut, but sticking my heart on Him and the things important, eternal, and the fruits of the Spirit and walking in Him daily and as an outworking of that, showing forth Him, happens, and are what's important. The things of life and world, are gone, although there here. If they come to seize belongings I'd hope to react just as those in hebrews 10:34 did, accepted joyfully the seizure of your property knowing you have a better hope and eternal.

I mentioned that verse to another in the faith, they balked at the thought, heart strings tied to "things"? don't take my wallet or means..it's all I have these "things"? Yet the early church suffered much and many today elsewhere suffer greatly, how could and do they..overcome? Many have warned persecutions come here, how will we react if so? lashing out and fighting, falling away from the faith?..meanwhile what about the harvest..will it pale in importance if/when persecution or loss of goods come? Heart strings, what are they tied to? guard our hearts and draw close to Him.

  5. Many people are throwing God out of everything & out of there lives. We are paying for our sin's now. If we have been watching what's going on with our weather and everything around us. But we are to lost & asleep to realise of what's going on. We are going to wake up sooner or later. We need to wake up as a people Now!. We have no time to wast for God.
