As you praise Me, your
burdens are lifted. As you focus on Me, I inhabit your praises and take your
burdens from you. Rest, My children, and let Me carry your load. You are
concerned about many things. Be concerned with only one – focusing on Me, and
on My love for you. This, and only this, is needful.
The world around you rages
with the birth pangs of the new age, a time of chaos. Focus on My love when you
need peace in the chaos, when you feel concerned, tired, or frustrated.
Focus on me, and I will
lead you through.
Psalm 22:3
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Luke 10:41-42
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha,
Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen
that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
Isaiah 41:10:
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I
will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the
right hand of my righteousness.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:35-39
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed
all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
Thank you for sharing this. I don't want to be afraid...I feel God keep telling me to be like the Hebrew boys who refused to bow down to the idol. I feel He is saying a season is coming, and is practically already here...where people close to me will try to get me to bow down to an idol: money, fame, fear, etc...and I must be confident in the Lord (in his love) and go through the fire.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about everybody else...but to me, knowing that idolatry is the same in America as it is in Bible times...the same spirits and evil associated with it...that gives me chills. Even repackaged idolatry is ugly...especially when people don't see it as such. But I'm not afraid..just tired. I need to get stronger in the Lord so I can go through this with confidence. So I can be a testimony when I come out of the fire unscathed.
I'm not very excited about this word for my life...but I know I will make it through the fire. Just pray, because God keeps reminding me to prepare for this every day..often before I go to sleep and when I wake up. I will read the story in the Bible to help prepare...and I will ask God for help. On the bright side God spoke a very encouraging word over my entire life...and I am happy about that. I am thankful for God's perfect love towards me.
Thank you. God bless.
